I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

Why the fuck is kat playing the victim? If i was roxy i would be round a solicitors finding out how much money i could screw out of the bastard! Also why should he and kat be allowed to take over the pub, it's roxy's and amy's home and is owned by phil. Why doesn't alfie bugger off to live with kat and tommy!

Yes why does kat just get to resume her position behind the bar? When roxy said about kat 'winning' a life behind the bar i thought why? Kat has a job on the market- or do all the women in alfies life have to follow him wherever he decides to go? Why couldnt alfie join her on the stall?

Why kat is suddenly some poor damsel in distress is beyond me. why she "had" to tackle roxy in the caf is just nuts.
As phil said Alfie needs his head testing, i mean how many affairs is now? Even when Alfie gave her carte blanche to cheat as long as he could bury his head in the sand about it didn't work out. Why do they think that it will be different this time? How long til we get the "i can't help dropping my knickers because i'm so messed up" routine.

Why would you invite jake (who you've never met) and Sadie who you've known Five minutes but not Tracey from behind the bar who you've worked with for years and years.

I think we need a major disaster this Christmas to kill off all the annoying characters:

Alfie is a spineless, feeble creature! His little boy lost act doesn't wash one bit. I like that he expected Roxy to move out with Amy, and he did the same with Kat. I wonder what they'd say about 'loveable' Alfie on the relationship topic here!
I think we're supposed to like Alfie and his grand gestures (that ridiculous scene at the airport, for example), but I don't know anybody who does from reading these EE threads.
