I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

Used to love Peggy and Pat bitching at each other. Their slanging matches were hilarious. Almost welled up, almost.

Fakebook I think you might be onto something there, although how are they going to explain away how Jake was already well-established at the same counsellor that Lauren chose and how he somehow always manages to get the appointment right before hers? Now you've said it, I think you're right, and they'll just ignore the plot holes. But it's a bit implausible. They're making Carl out to be Derren Brown or something.

Also, a general question: do we think the actor playing Sam is just atrocious or rather excellent for consistently portraying him with some odd mannerisms?

i think alice's look was too kat slater (why do they all have a pair of those hoop earrings?) although I really dislike her ordinary librarian look so it was nice to see her looking her age! she cant play drunk though

I dunno Kat Slater's make up makes her look full on scary. To the point of freakishness. did not like Alice'skirt but the make up actually looked about right/contemporary.

There is something wrong with the DcC in Albert Square. They sleep loads, and I mean loads. They don't take their first step until they are at least two. I could understand if it were just one child, but it's all of them. And they only speak when spoken to.
