Can't you find something more important to channel your energy into rather than criticising someone doing their job and actually helping some less able kids too in Something Special. This was my first visit to mumsnet - don't think I'll bother if this kind of pointless moaning is typical...

Oh nickysnooks you had to come along and ruin it didn't you. Not once has anyone criticised him for what he does on something special. As for the 'sad, miserable people' it's a bit of fun!

I have happened to know justin for a long time, 8 years in fact and he is not gay. He considers himself very lucky and priviliged to be doing what he's doing and works very hard, doing lots of different kids shows and charity work,this being the main reason for him being single. i have told him about this thread and he said he has seen it. He says he takes all the bad comments with good, thats showbiz. But the show he values above all is something special, which many of you with children, special needs or learning difficulties or not, is one of justins many programmes which have earnt him a place as one the best childrens presenter of all time. He is a top guy, and i'm not just saying that, but he is truly one of those few people we don't have in this world. A true, giving, unselfish and talented man. One of gods gifts.

well i can tell you he's not married and he'll be looking for a girlfriend once he starts to get a bit more time on his hands.
Remember my son saying to him once "all those women after you and you'd rather work". Justin said that he loves his work at the moment and wouldn't want to be doing anything else, so i'm guessing you ladies will just have to wait !

aww i am big fan of Justin too and think this thread is brilliant he is such a fantastic presenter and i actually miss Higgledy house, i find myself not getting much house jobs done when he is on lol, saw him when he was doing the lights at christmas but it was packed so we didnt get to see him on stage, on our way to the car very late we saw him leaving in his car and he stopped and waved at my daughter, i dont know who was more excited to see him, me or my girl lol :0)

Cloudexplosion, i would fight you to the death over Justin. I didn't finish work until 1pm but still managed to get home in time for something special. Truth is, no kids today because they're all back at school now. Had him all to myself, so lovely.

change of plan not seeing justin at the weekend i'm afraid. BUT i spoke to him earlier and told him about you. i told him you tried to have it off with him at the NEC and he went quiet for a bit then i think he realised and laughed. he said to say "Debbie, i am flattered but i really cannot see the attraction with me. just doing my job, suppose the ladies are a bonus though." to which i replied, 'Suppose' Justin, what's wrong with you ! think he was a bit after that because the conversation went dead lol. he said to say hello to all you mumsnetters though!
