You lot are soooooo funny!!! I thought he was quite short too, well about the same height as me,but then i'm quite tall, for a woman, i think. So does that still make him short? What am i going on about? This thread always manages to cheer me up though

Evening girls :) I was hoping some of you would have been around as I was feeling a bit down but you've cheered me up now - ta!

Shambles, I had been meaning to ask how tall he is. I've looked at him with the other Cbeebies presenters and I thought about 5'10"?

Oooh Twister & Pot Noodles! What a riot! Can I come too Wink (Though I don't mean like a threesome! It'd just be a fun night!) I can't cook massively well either, not anything that would be good on a date, but I do make wicked cakes. I bet Justin likes a cake or ten. OUCH, did I say that? Shock

Hmm, hair. I like Mr Tumble's tufty hair. And DIY Dan's. In fact DIY Dan is my fave Gigglebiz character, though he's a real rip-off of other comedy characters. As are pretty much all the Gigglebiz characters!

eden263 · 22/01/2011 22:15

Oh, I feel bad about the cake comment, now, I was only joking. I'm hardy sylph-like myself!! I most certainly enjoy a good cake session... [grin} I actually think he looks more yummy now than when he was thinner TBH. And full credit to him for still donning the lycra bodysuits, he's a braver chubster than I. Hmm, maybe he should go on Hole in the Wall....

eden263 · 22/01/2011 22:27

Henchwench, your date sounds good too (no, the other one!)...I never think it terms of actually going anywhere to do something...Been a single mum for 14 years now, so everything I do has to end with being home for bedtime, lol! Alcohol and a chat, yes, that's good...I wonder if he's one of those annoying people that slips into different characters in the middle of a conversation. That would be freaky. Hmm

A present? Jeez, what a question! I don't know him so I don't know what he'd like! An enchantment spell that would make him fall in love with me, pmsl! What were you thinking?

lolbaby · 23/01/2011 00:56

What would you do if you knew Justin read this..??
Bet he gets off on all these horny women after his ass..!!
Wink
Obviously not you Eden263..
Just cuddles for you..!
Grin

eden263 · 23/01/2011 08:49

If he read this? I'd chuckle to myself and hope he would have the sense to take it for what it is - harmless ramblings. And be a little flattered, really, that so many women consider him nice enough to spend their time engaged in favourable thoughts about him. 'Justin' is no less of a 'character' than any of his regular characters, since I only 'know' the version of the real Justin that he/his agent/the BBC choose to show us. He may well be a grumpy old bugger in real life (and no-one could be that cheerful and effusive 24/7, it would be unnatural not to have off days!), but I think he's evidently sufficiently career-minded to know that not appearing 100% perfect and lovely in public would be a knock to his career. But I'm not saying he's not a nice or genuine bloke, I still believe he is...What I mean is, my daydreams about him are entirely harmless - it's not as if I'm following him around or camping outside his house or anything. You know...

eden263 · 23/01/2011 08:52

Oh, and if he is reading this...Justin, do you want to come round for cake and a cuddle? Wink

shambles82 · 23/01/2011 11:01

He has read this thread, because at the panto he mentioned to me that he'd seen that i was coming on the 29th. At the time i didn't think, but thinking of it now, he must have read this thread, because i posted the date i was coming! So go and sell yourself girls. Ha!

eden263 · 23/01/2011 11:10

But how does he know that Shambles is you? Confused Are you sure you didn't say it in your letter? But fair play to him that he remembered you, the hundreds of mums he must encounter! :)

Lol at myself saying my daydreams involve going to a garden centre the other day...turned on the telly this morning and it was halfway through an ep of SS set at a garden centre! Hadn't seen that one before!

jodevizes · 23/01/2011 12:57

Funny, I thought that Barney was taking over. Oh well.

whatkungfuthat · 23/01/2011 14:06

I can't remember how short exactly, sorry Blush I was surprised as I thought he would be taller (DP is 5' 11' and he was much shorter if that helps) He was a bit rounded in the lycra but not a much as the TV makes him appear. What was offputting was that they made his hair stand up at the back for comedy effect, that was not flattering at all! In the breaks in filming he went up and talked to all the children and was VERY smiley to the mummies, myself included but DS2 ignorned him so I couldn't monopolise his time without looking like a mad stalker desperate

shambles82 · 23/01/2011 17:52

He recognised me by face, not by name. And i'm sure he wouldn't forget me, my little girl was hysterical at the time he helped me with my shopping. He must have read this to know when i was going to the pantomime though. There's no other way he'd know. I did see him at the pub too, not far from where one of my friends live, with one of the women from the pantomime, the prince? I didn't want to bother him the though. I personally don't think the telly does anything for his physique or his looks. He is much slimmer and better looking in the flesh. I'm 5'9'. He's about that i reckon.

shambles82 · 23/01/2011 18:54

Which also leads me to believe he read the message i posted to thank him about helping me that day. That is obviously how he knew it was me, from that message. I feel all confused now!

eden263 · 23/01/2011 20:53

Heheh...well, he must have studied it all in some detail to remember your nickname and make the link as your posts about Waitrose and the card etc were some time apart, as was the panto date one. Maybe he's as bored and sad as us, then! Wink Or maybe he has us all jotted down with our comments like Henchwench's Justin Diary!

In which case... Sorry about the moobs and the cake references....It was only said affectionately... Blush

Yes, they do say that TV isn't very flattering...Thank god I'm not on it!

(Though I still think he must have more important/interesting things to do with his life than read all this gibberish!)

waves at Justin<
HELLOOOOOOOO..!!
Grin
And i am very sure.. a very busy guy like him would have much better things to do than scroll through threads full of crazy lustful mumsnetters..!
No offence..
I'm here too.. Grin
Unless he loves to groom his ego..
Hmmm..
I just bet he loves all this..!

shambles82 · 24/01/2011 15:56

Trust me, he may not read this on a regular basis, but he has done at some point. At the time i didn't really think anything of it, but now i have thought about it, the stranger the whole thing seems. I mean, i wrote to him thanking him, in return he sent me that letter and signed photo. But HE recognised me at the pantomime, he came over and spoke to DD, she was over the moon this time. Then he asked how my other little girl was. I thought he remembered that from the letter, but maybe he remembers because he reads this! Ha! I told him we were sitting in the front row if he wants to give us a wave. And he said yes, i remembered you were coming on the 29th and sitting in the front row. Impressive, as the only way he'd know that is from reading this. Quite funny really.

lolbaby · 24/01/2011 17:43

Maybe he hasn't forgot you because he fancies you shambles..
Wink
And i think he probably does read things about him..
He's got to be curious..
And alot of celebs do read things written about them..
Including things online too...
He mentioned in his webchat about twitter did he not..?
I'm.. of course.. sitting on the fence in all this...
Grin

eden263 · 24/01/2011 18:12

Ah well, I guess we'll never know unless he spills the beans the next time you bump into him, Shambles!

And does it really matter either way? I still think he's a brilliant and talented bloke (with cute moobs Wink), whether he knows it or not!

Though Gigglebiz is starting to irritate me now. I'm definitely a SS person!

eden263 · 24/01/2011 18:18

Sorry, did that sound grumpy? Bad headache [bsad]

shambles82 · 24/01/2011 19:25

I agree, it doesn't matter. I think he's a lovely man from what i've encountered anyway. And i love gigglebiz loads more than Something Special. Although Doctor Doctor is giving my DD nightmares at the moment. She keeps telling me he's in DD2's cot of a night time. But she really likes Captain Adorable at the minute (last series it was Nana Knickerbocker) but she did anger me slightly when she decided to do the finger on lip sssssssshhhh thing he does to me before tea tonight. Yeh, that made me ask why on earth he has to put stuff like that in, knowing the children are most likely going to copy! Bad Justin!

shambles82 · 24/01/2011 19:28

And lolbaby, thanks for making me laugh. Justin fancy me? If only you could see me! Ha! He took the time to speak to everyone, not just me. And i'm sure he recognises other people he's met before too. I'm definately nothing special. Just lucky i've seen him a couple of times, i guess.

eden263 · 25/01/2011 00:44

Lol @ Shambles, I sympathise. My 2.3 y-o DD thinks she's Mr Tumble. Or Justin. Everything she says or does (well, it feels like it!) is from SS...she keeps just doing random signs and saying the words. ("Bouncy...castle", "Butterfly...cake")...or, REALLY annoying, if we're in a hurry for work/nursery and I can't find something, I'll say, for example "Where are your shoes" and she starts the whole "Where are shoes? Dey somewhere here. When you see dem, wave or cheer" AAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!! Oh, and she's started saying " Great to see you!" to people, like J does when he meets the children...

I tell you what, if anything's going to put you off liking JF, it's living with a 2-y-o female version!!
