Netflix inspiration please

Netflix has become my friend in insomnia, up to now I've watched all of Californication, and have just finished working my way through Dexter which I absolutely loved. Can somebody give me some inspiration as what to try next.

I've tried Breaking Bad in the past, but couldn't get past episode 3, I've seen 24 before. I can't get Netflix USA on my iPad so it's got to come off the UK list.

Katatonic & Umicar... Sorry! You're both right, they're not on there. Weird. Although they're old, they're petty big (as in popular & as in lots of seasons) shows, so would've thought they were on. Sorry for getting any hopes up!

Aargh, I have signed up again but when I try and play something it sends me to the "compatible devices" page with details about computers and Internet speeds (no mention of tv). It works on iPad. Can't get it to work through ps3 either, which is also connected to the Samsung Internet tv, lovefilm is fine, I don't understand !

If anyone has a wii you get a Netflix channel on that for free (or if you don't mind paying for Xbox live then you can get it on there too)

Justified is good, I watched shield recently and that was amazing but I can't remember if it was netflix or lovefilm

The Shied isn't available on my Netflx.

The Killing (third season exclusive on netflix)

Orange is the new Black, which has only just been released exclusive to netflix... I just watched it solidly and have completed the 13th episode XD By the creator of Weeds, which is also a good show.

Another vote for House of Cards. I felt lost when it had finished, I totally expected not to get on with it, as not a massive fan of political dramas usually... but was hooked!

I was hooked from beginning of Breaking Bad... so another vote here XD

I've just discovered 'Orange is the new black.' It's brilliant. Really funny/sad/interesting. Totally hooked.

I've heard you can access the US version of netflix as there's a lot more content but you have to install something. Has anyone done this and is the content a lot better?

I want access to HBO series like The Sopranos etc but I think they've been monopolised by SKY.

I second Orange is the New Black. First episode was the worst but after that it is just brilliant. Watched all of it in a few days (so easy to do on Netflix) and very sad it's all over till series 2 next year,

Now I'm back to working my way through the equally brilliant Breaking Bad, then I think it'll be onto either Californication or Sons of Anarchy

There's lots of stuff on google/ youtube re accessing the US Netflix (and yes, their content is miles better)...apparently it's completely legal and Netflix have no problem with it as long as you are a subscriber

I'm on episode 3 and have just watched the scene where her stalker 'crazy eyes' wees on the floor. Just brilliant.

Breaking Bad is one of the best tvseries Ive ever seen.not sure how to watch it though when the last episodes come out. Weekly or in bulk? That is the question!

Oh yes, most definitely 'the least brilliant'! It's just that I was worried at the start that it was going to be pretty cliched, so I wouldn't want anyone to think it was going to go that way.

I'm v jealous of you only being on episode 3...I whizzed through them way too fast! Rest assured it just gets better and better

YY to accessing the US netflix, we do this through the Xbox, simple matter of just changing the DNS settings over, easily googleable/youtubeable!

OP I see you like Dexter, you can watch all of the series so far (think Netflix only had till 6 last time I looked a few weeks ago) on stream-tv.me/ and lots of other series on there too, either for laptop or internet TV.

I'm about to start watching Orange is the New Black after seeing it recommended here :) Also currently working through Torchwood again and all the Star Trek versions [geek]

Yes, he wants to bring in his stash of drugs through Red's suppliers.

What do you want to know about Trish? Anything specific?

Just finished OITNB all way through. Without trying to spoiler, how on earth will she recover from doing what it is she's just done - will she have to face charges? I mean how will they come back from that? I'm not sure I can wait till 2014.

Modern family is our current favourite, and US office. They are both really easy watching if you like something a bit silly!
DS is I sedated with modern family and must have watched all of the episodes 10 times over!

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling a bit smug because I managed to get Netflix US to stream through the x-box so loads more choice than UK Netflix. I've watched the first two series of Luther and loved them and now I've seen The Fall is on there which is the next one I'm lining up to watch because I missed it when it was on and heard great reviews. Then I'm on to OISTNB - so much choice, so little time.
