I am not sure if things will ever change in the US, because their whole national ideology is founded on this idea that people should be "free" from government interference - hence low taxes, etc but few services. Polar opposite of Scandinavian countries for example. There is no way I would ever want to live in the US.

At the start of the program it showed him balancing them on the toilet and you heard the wee coming out.
Must be a small gap somewhere in the middle.

OnTheNingNangNong · 24/06/2013 21:31

A developed nation should not be able to have people going untreated for that long. It's so sad.

Oh my god, can you imagine this happening in Britain? Nope. Thank god.

marciaoverstrand · 24/06/2013 21:36

Oh the doctor has finally decided to do the op for nothing, you think he would have considered that a few months before.

Madsometimes · 24/06/2013 21:39

Good on the surgeon. I'm sure the prestige of doing the op will help his practice gain more patients.

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2013 21:40

Oh good lord if they had done it for free when it was football sized it would have been a so much smaller Op.

VivaLeBeaver · 24/06/2013 21:40

Blimey, poor bloke doesn't even know what is and isn't his penis.

Madsometimes · 24/06/2013 21:40

I suppose it's not just the surgeon doing the freebie, but all other hospital staff too.

OneStepCloser · 24/06/2013 21:43

This is actually making me angry, this poor man suffering for so long. Thank god for the NHS, it may not be perfect but look at the alternative.

MrGeresHamster · 24/06/2013 21:45

I can't believe they just did that with his testicles Sad

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2013 21:46

Me neither MrGere. Bit disrespectful of the patient.

SauvignonBlanche · 24/06/2013 21:47

This is how some Tories would have the NHS going.Angry

LalyRawr · 24/06/2013 21:48

marciaoverstrand · 24/06/2013 21:49

MrGeresHamster · 24/06/2013 21:49
