Is anyone else getting a bit bored with this? Will anything ever happen or get explained, didn't see the first series so maybe I've missed something?

You didn't miss anything. Nothing happened in be first series either.

We have series 2 on Sky and can't summon up the energy to watch it.

I enjoyed series 1 which seemed to have more of the little individual stories all connected . Series 2 has moved into yawnsville !
