i was bloody right though. fab series. oc and dt were indeed very fab

Ooh, at the end of the extra scene, it says "Broadchurch will return". Yay!!

Aaaargh , the reveal was pathetic! Just giving himself up. Though I guess it was quite good that after all that it was all so simple.

Loved the filming of DT at the beginning, just part views of him, and the beacons, and the close up if the calm sea at the end, all the other credit shots of the sea have been of rough waves.

What was that extra scene all about? Good series though well done itv

But DT himself said he was 'medicalled out' - 2nd series must be the court case and aftermath. Tie up the loose ends that episode was meant to sort out.

Bit pissed off tbh, the momentum will have been lost by a second series.

OC absolutely stole the show. Without her it would have been a bit 'meh'.

Ellie will return . She moves to Scunthorpe and has a side-kick called Neville.

So unsettling

I thought right at the end someone else was going to be revealed as an accomplice or killer.

So some of us were right about Joe anyway. Still very well acted.

And the beacons were a bit 'meh'. The murdered boys father's mistress lit the bonfire. So that was nice.

That was so good OC and DT made a great team so glad they didn't kill off DT had to rewind yes !!it will return acting was superb, I don't think family knew hotel woman lit torch they were up on hill she was down on beach and Mark only got access cos prison man said don't tell anyone sometimes in small place these things happen ,yes I confess it will be difficult to let it go...

Cant see a whole series beign made out of the court case - unless it becomes a bit soap-like. Hmmm.

What next - what will fill this hole in my life?!

Not quite getting why people are disappointed. It would have been awful to have revealed a murderer in the last 5 mins for shock value.

This was about the fallout of a murder. Great to see a drama 'breathe' and build. Performances were incredible. I have a slight girl crush on OC

I'm not sure how a second series will be. Wont be anywhere as near as good as that.
