Yeah i know what you mean and I definately haven't got the figure for bikinis and shower etc either. I'd sooner sell it on ebay and make a killing.

sweetmonkey · 18/05/2006 12:55

indeed!!!! just emailed my mate with the bad news about tickets not going on sale til tonight, and we've sort of said we may well visit a supermarket after big bro finishes tonight

thats a very big Blush but coz im hyper today also a Grin

Ledodgyherring · 18/05/2006 12:56

Yeah I was thinking that too we have a 24 hour tesco not far from here.

sweetmonkey · 18/05/2006 12:56

lol the obsession is starting already

Ledodgyherring · 18/05/2006 12:58

I know lol and we haven't even watched it yet! Every year I watch the first one and hate them all and say "I can't see i'm going to get into it this year" thern every year I get into it. I hope this year its more like the older ones though , far too many outlandish types in the last one they need a few more realistic personalities.

sweetmonkey · 18/05/2006 13:00

im exactly the same. maybe they have hidden underlying messages to brainwash us all as we watch

bundle · 18/05/2006 13:10

are people still watching this? Shock

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 13:15

Haven't checked the tv guide yet - what time is it all kicking off tonight? Must remember to go to Asda and pick up the celebratory munchies and alcohol. Grin

....must get the battery charged up for dh's laptop. I can sit in the lounge then and do Mumsnet whilst watching BB! Grin

Ah bliss - Mumsnet, Big Brother, Chocolate and Wine all at the same time. Kids will be in bed at 5pm tonight. Wink Wink Wink

Ledodgyherring · 18/05/2006 13:35

Not fair! I want a laptop there's no tv in the computer room so i'll have to nip back and forth, oh well wil burn off the alcohol and munchies I suppose. Grin

MadamePlatypus · 18/05/2006 14:33

I am nostalgic for the days of nasty nick when they had no idea whether anybody was watching them. I think its funny the way its gone. BB 1-3 - stranger and stranger - panic at how mean they were to Jade, BB4, nobody watched, Jade did very well for herself thank you and now its a complete freak show.

Looking forward to tonight.

did anyone see Makosi on LK Today crying about what she went through and saying how BB ruined her life and she's had suicidal thoughts. If it's so bad why doesn't she go home to where her parents live?

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 18:46

bugger no - I missed it. Saw there was a thread about it this morning. I ran to TV but it had finished.

jalopy · 18/05/2006 19:24

Not long to go! I'm always hooked to this one. At least it doesn't clash with Tiny Tearaways Grin

TheLadyVanishes · 18/05/2006 19:26

did the charlie and the choc factory ploy work, has anyone found the golden ticket or am i just way behind everyone else? Grin

Tortington · 18/05/2006 19:48

i love BB

i love bb

icant think of anythin aderquate to sum up my feelings

i love bb

mistressmiggins · 18/05/2006 20:13

This will be my first BB by myself - which is rather odd as its nice to sit & discuss the housemates.....fortunately (and sadly) my computer is now in my lounge so will be able to pop on here to discuss with you lot insteadGrin

50 mins & counting !!

MamaG · 18/05/2006 20:31

I am VERY excited about BB and in fact I only came onto mumsnet tonight to see if there was a thread Blush

Can't wait! DH always hates the housemates when they first go in, but ends up addicted.

Brian was my all time favourite, I love him and want to be his best mate Grin

I watched "his" final alone and couldn't sit down as I was so excited! DH was working and DD was a baby in bed, I woke her up screaming yessssssss

God I need to get out more!

mistressmiggins · 18/05/2006 20:34

did anyone hear Chris Moyles this morning?

he said the following:-

day 1 - hate all housemates and think BB is going to be rubbish
week 2 - think all housemates are boring and this is the worst BB ever
middle of BB - totally hooked - BEST BB ever
night b4 final - really excited & think will be BEST ever
final - disappointed

next day - forget all about housemates Grin

13 weeks ladies !!

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 20:37

Ok guys, control yourselves. Listen and Listen good....................(ROFPMSL!)

We are now down to the final 15 minutes before our life in the next three months changes completely. Please ensure that your families have been warned, the wine and chocolate supply is fully stocked up and your telephones are unplugged. Wink

sparkler1 · 18/05/2006 20:38

mistressmiggins didn't hear that one but it's very very true Smile

TheLadyVanishes - kitkats go on sale at 10.30pm tonight I believe. I won't be rushing down to the local shop for any - hoping to have had most of my bottle of red vino by then. I expect I shall buy a couple tomorrow though - not that I would go in the house if I won anyway. What a very clever marketing plan these Nestle (?is it them? have planned.

I'm so addicted, I'm already dreading the withdrawal symptoms and feelings of bereftness that will occur in late summer.Grin
