My almost 8 year old wants to watch it but I'm not sure of the certificate. Anyone know ?

My DVD is a 12.

Should say as well, that if they're showing it at that time it might have been tweaked anyway. I'd imagine the certificate is because of the fighting. Can't remember anything rude, or any real swearing tbh.

Thanks serenity that's sorted it. I definitely won't be letting him watch it. Dh was sure they would only put a U cert on at that time !

I might tape it and can then vet it. Probably best for him not to watch it just before bed anyway.

we've got it on DVD and it did scare ds1(he's 7) but at 6:20 in the evening it will be edited.

My 7 y.o. boys watched this last year. Blush I honestly can't remember anything worrying in it and they loved it. It is really good, actually. Even I liked it.

The tape is whirring away and my boys are playing football in the garden. A win/win situation as they will be very tired from all that running around so they'll go straight to sleep tonight - and then when they wake early in the morning they will be nice and quiet for mummy & daddy 'cos they have a new film to watch. Perfect Smile
