I cant stand Timmy Time a
or Pingu on cbeebies. They are just stupid noises with no words! I mean what would a child learn from that shite?

Bubble Guppies - dubbed American guff with awful songs and terrible singers. It would give X Factor rejects a run for its money. Sadly DD loves it...

Iwantmybed · 12/04/2013 20:48

Balamory is just as awful. I love Timmy time though.

LlamateurDramatics · 12/04/2013 21:39

DS has watched Mickey's Clubhouse and the Wiggles at his childminder and loves them - I've watched a couple of episodes with him on YouTube and they were awful. On CBeebies it's Justin's House which makes me have to leave the room, can't stand it. And Granny Murray gives me the creeps.

marjproops · 12/04/2013 21:43

ooh yeh, forgot numberjacks. and zingzillas are creepy.

dont get sparticle mystery or whatever its called on cbbc at all.

has inklings of old 70's prog the changes or something yet seems to meander from one thing to another.

CecyHall · 12/04/2013 21:44

Justin's House- the characters are so bad mannered, Justin's fucking annoying facial expressions, the stupid songs.

Unfortunately I only have to sit on the sofa before DS2 is over asking for 'Ouse, 'Ouse Angry

Poppetspinkpants · 12/04/2013 22:20

Hate Doc Mcstuffin and anything with Justin.
Love Phineas & ferb .Dr Doof rocks.
I will admit to fancying the Numbertaker though. And Robbie Rotten (but only for his impressive lunchbox)

Poppetspinkpants · 12/04/2013 22:26

Sofia the first makes me want to vomit. Yuk Yuk Yuk.
But Mr Men is class stuff.

HubbaHubbaHubbaInHoobLand · 12/04/2013 23:17

I am a shape.....
I am a square...
I am a circle....

sarahandemily · 13/04/2013 07:24

Oh and I forgot. Anything with Justin in. I have blocked them out. I think he must have dirty pictures of someone high up at the bbc and be using them to get on every programme on cbeebies

neontetra · 13/04/2013 07:31

All the Justin fletcher stuff, and that weird thing with the fake Dr healing puppets, and that bloody singing nurse.

Love Third and Bird though, which someone mentioned upthread - I love the songs. As for Mr bloom - I, too, so would!

AThingInYourLife · 13/04/2013 07:59

Turd and Burd makes me stabby, as does anything that encourages baby talk Waybuloo.

I want to kick Muffin in the arse so hard she never comes down.

Dirt girl is a crime against animation.

Mr Bloom is a creepy weirdo and that fucking bean breaks the baby talk protocol.

I've come around to Baby Jake.

My girls are obsessed by Numberjacks, so I kind of like that despite it's cheapness.

I love Peppa Pig. It's properly funny and well acted.

widdles · 13/04/2013 08:02

I totally detest horrid Henry, ds is 4 and inadvertently saw an episode and immediately turned into Henry and was suitably horrid. It is banned from home and grandparents homes

AThingInYourLife · 13/04/2013 08:06

"I am a shape.....
I am a square...
I am a circle...."

LIARS!

Square, you are not a square but a second rectangle.
Circle, you are not a circle but an oval.

(And that's leaving aside the whole 3D thing)

Angry

:o

EugenesAxe · 13/04/2013 08:08

I am going to start with an admission that I love all these that have been mentioned as being hated:

Timmy Time
Pingu
Abney & Teal

Mainly because DS frequently proper belly laughs at them, but then I also like a bit of accordion country music. I hate:

Postman Pat SDS - I have mused about alternative lyrics and can't scan them well but they include 'He will never get, sacked from his job... all the Union leaders love an incompetent...' I know it would be boring if he didn't get out the helicopter on a regular basis, but I just think of all the money getting shelled out. And it's often only needed because PP has lost his fucking delivery somehow.

Cloudbabies - I an a fan of atmospheric optics anyway, but the other day the sun got cold. I mean FFS.

Zingzillas - they just generally piss me off. I am often confused why Drum can't speak properly... it's not very clear if she's supposed to be a baby or toddler (who happens to have amazing coordination and rhythm skills).

Mike the Knight - just because

I don't mind Tree Fu Tom, as it's very funny when DS (3) spreads his legs wide apart, says something move related followed by (for example): 'Say "Make Mummy go downstairs" to send the magic to me!'

anything on disney which is currently banned because the lip passes over to the children, so that would be Jessie, shake it up, good luck charlie, the kids think they have got round this as victorious and icarly are not on disney chanel, these are now also banned and Fred omg Fred what the actual fuck I culd smash my telly rather than ever have to watch fred, the dc recorded fred the movie and dh shudders everytime he even sees the name on the planner.
This thyread has a definate divide between people with young dc and people with dc over say 5 who watch all the crap stated in my post, all I will say is if you think anyy littlelie programs are bad just wait, oh just you wait.

HubbaHubbaHubbaInHoobLand · 13/04/2013 08:10

i used to think cloudbabies were cute but the voices are so annoying as they use other kids voices which grate on me

DuchessofMalfi · 13/04/2013 08:27

DS has recently discovered Cartoonito. I can just about stand Fireman Sam, but most of other the stuff on there makes my ears hurt.

Pleasenomorepeppa · 13/04/2013 19:18

DD1 (3.11) loves Sofia The First & Doc McStuffins. I have the songs in my head on a constant loop.
I stayed at my sister recently & my nephew was watching Fred. WTF. How has that been allowed.
I was relieved to get back to Bloody Sofia.
Oh & Zingzillas make my eyes bleed.

HubbaHubbaHubbaInHoobLand · 13/04/2013 19:50

Woolly & me

OP posts:
comeonbishbosh · 13/04/2013 23:11

Grandpa in my pocket (no explanation needed)
Cloudbabies and Wayballoo cutesy stuff
Excruciating one with the dressing up llamas or alpacas or whatever they are.
Chuggington- the landscape and non-trainyness offends me... Bring back Ivor the Engine.

On the other hand, I quite like some of the others mentioned here. I guess not surprising there's as varied taste as with adult programmes.

MildredIsMyAlterEgo · 13/04/2013 23:30

DS has never seen Barney. I intend to keep it that way for as long as possible.

He loves Postman ginger haired father of half the village Pat - not a problem as I quite like it myself...not the SDS nonsense though, the voices are wrong wrong wrong.

All the characters (except Claude) on Granny Murray are beyond tedious.

I have never actually watched Tree Fu Tom. It's been on when I've been in the room, but I've always managed to zone out immediately it starts. Thank God. The name alone annoys me.

I can't watch Raa Raa purely because of Lorraine Kelly's voice.

The one that DS likes best is Mio Mao, but it's hardly ever on so I let him watch it on youtube sometimes.

We both like Peppa Pig Grin

Dunkintea · 14/04/2013 00:32

dita Fred!! WTF !! That voice makes me want to punch the tv drives me up the wall . Didn't realise there was a Fred movie .... now that would tip me over the edge!
And if u asked me few years ago I would have said pingu

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/04/2013 01:56

Dunkinyea there are IIRC 3 yes THREE Fred Movies.

They all blend into one another Hmm

Fred the Movie; Fred the Movie 2; Camp Fred

Makes Pingu voice sound like treacle
