I'm going to give it a go . From what I have read, series 1 is very similar to the UK one but after that it goes its own way . Oh and theirs are 13 episodes Shock ...... why couldn't we have 13 !

Was looking forward to this, but found it lacking the charm and humour of the UK version. It may grow on me, though. I will persevere!

I did enjoy the US/Canadian versions of Life on Mars and Primeval, so I hope so.

Watched it it was ok think it will grow on me but sally the ghost already annoys me a bit, but I spent the whole time comparing it to the UK version rather than trying to enjoy it on its own merits.

I enjoyed but think I am with Nadia on it lacking the charm and humour of ours .
I really liked Josh , thought Sally was ok but Aiden .....not that keen. As for their version of Herrick - Meh ! I have seen more sinister puppies . Wink

Well I watched it. Aiden is no Mitchell or Hal that's for sure (despite the name!!), it's all so... so.... American and BH should be British. I will give it another go, perhaps Josh isnt too bad, we'll see.

Didn't like it at all.

There is still a huge Hal shaped hole in my heart.

Found some super Being Human fanfic which is helping.

Nope, didn't like it, definitely not as nice as mitchel or hal.I'm missing Hal too. Keep watching the dance sequence on the last episode on u tube. He was just lovely and watched the hobbit just for kili (who was lovely, shame about the rest of the film).

Just watched it. Not terribly impressed. I'll give it a fair crack, but agree there's no humour. That's what made the British version so good. Humour in the face if their adversity.

Oops forgot it was on ....... with the UK one I used to watch it again ( and when Hal arrived again and again Wink ) but apart from reading comments on here I haven't given it a thought .
