I can't believe he's dead already. Sad
There's still 2 episodes to go and I really thought he'd be in it til the end.

What will happen to Naevia?
Will Spartacus survive to the last episode?
Is Agron dead too or will he survive his injuries?

I don't want it to be over, I fucking love Spartacus Sad

Waaah I haven't watched Monday's yet will I cry? I don't see it as spoilers at this point as I'm sure they are all going to die :( but I truly love crixus and naevia (preferred original naevia actress though)

limitedperiodonly · 03/04/2013 19:18

You will cry.

Interesting about the switching of Naevia. Sneaky bastards. I thought it wasn't her...

Spoiler news. I've got a preview set which has deliberately left the final episode out. What could that mean?

Really. I've no idea.

cookielove · 03/04/2013 19:31

Naevia - Dh prefers the old actress.

Spartacus - Dh (who is not at all clued up) was saying how the series was not as good as with the new actor (liam) and he didn't get why they replaced him (Andy) i informed him of Andy's unfortunate death Sad and he was like oh Blush

RIP Andy Whitfield Sad

EhricLovesTeamQhuay · 03/04/2013 21:58

I just watched it
Oh the sadface :(

Helena1964 · 06/04/2013 05:59

I madly adored Crixus, and bawled like a baby at his death. The show appears on Fridays where I am, and I watched Episode 9 tonight. I won't ruin it for everyone by revealing spoilers, but let's just say that it is epic, intense, and emotionally wrenching.
Unfortunately, no-one I know in RL loves the show like I do. Thankfully I belong to several forums of die-hard Spartacus fans. With all of the tragedy on the show ( including the RL tragedy of Andy Whitfield ) , the forums serve almost as a support group. After each heart-breaking episode, we all rush to our keyboards and type through our tears as we commiserate with one another. We're all figuratively clutching and hugging one another as we await the very last episode .
I just noticed this thread, and I"m glad that I've found another group to mourn with. Going to go off to cry some more now.

Looking back at what I've posted, I realize that I should seriously get a life !

EhricLovesTeamQhuay · 06/04/2013 09:18

Helena I have a 4 year old, I'm doing a masters degree and I live in the middle of nowhere. Tv is my life. Seriously. I way over invest! Tv, and books and occasionally fan fiction. I'm hoping to regain a life around 2014...

FannyFifer · 06/04/2013 09:30

Ah Helena, your post made me giggle, especially your second one. Grin

Poor Andy Whitfield. So tragic. Wasn't quite the same without him. RIP Flowers

I remember rolling my eyes at the series' graphic portrayal of sex & violence ("oh dh, they've ripped off '300' & it's crappy soft porn" grumble, grumble") & now here I am mourning the passing of great characters well played.Smile

Iheartcows · 08/04/2013 23:19

Another emotional and gripping episode tonight.
Glad that little shit got his comeuppance but I hoped it would've been Naevia that finished him off.
Loved the gladiator fight with the Romans, Spartacus l

Oops posted too soon.
Spartacus looked particularly hot tonight I thought Wink

Dreading the last episode, I don't want it to end.

Is there any truth in a spin off series about Caesar?

EhricLovesTeamQhuay · 09/04/2013 06:34

I missed the first half hour so I was a bit confused but I agree about naevia and Tiberius.

FannyFifer · 09/04/2013 08:15

Spent most of this episode just gazing at Spartacus who was looking mighty fine!

Glad Agron was still alive, but bloody hell next week is going to be horrendous, they won't change the ending will they? Hmm

EhricLovesTeamQhuay · 09/04/2013 08:23

I was sure agron was still alive, he didn't have a passionate enough farewell with his BF. if he was off to die they would have had more than a peck Wink [slashh0ar]

cookielove · 09/04/2013 12:05

I'm with Ehric all there was, was a hug and kiss and then see ya!! Hmm

GraceSpeaker · 09/04/2013 19:08

Here is the Caesar spin-off stuff. Not sure how they'd plot that one, though - he spends most of the 60s in Rome doing political stuff. Maybe skip to Gaul??

Who's watching? :(

Thisvehicleisreversing · 16/04/2013 00:22

Oh my god what an ending!
Brilliant final episode, blubbed all through but especially at the very end of the credits where they showed Andy Whitfield screaming "I'm Spartacus!!"
Glad he didn't die alone at the end, Agron and Nasir with him was very sweet. Didn't like Gannicus and Naevia going the way they did Sad

Really hate that it's over, where am I going to get my fix of sweaty, bloody, muscly gladiators now?

It was such a superb ending. I so wished Spartacus had finished Crassus though and naevia deserved better. But there had to be some harrowing bits, it couldn't all be awesome flaming hammer death.

Gingersstuff · 16/04/2013 14:53

I bawled like a baby at this episode Sad
The very end scene with Andy Whitfield....Oh. My. Gods. Shivers up the spine stuff.
What an ending though...the writers didn't pull any punches did they??
I will REALLY miss Spartacus Sad Sad Sad
