Greys Anatomy. What's up with me?

I've been lent the boxed set. I'm halfway through the second season and, you know what? I can't abide Meredith. It's got so bad that I think it may stop me enjoying the show. She's like some surgeon Carrie Bradshaw. Now, all my girlfriends love her so it has to be me right? It's the same with Hannah from Girls. I stopped watching because of her.

Why am I so intolerant?

I think Shonda (creator and writer) is devoting more of her attention on her newer show Scandal.

There's nothing original about it. When do I need to purchase Private Practice?

I loved Private Practice at first but eventually got fed up with some of the storylines & characters.
It is worth watching though.

It is getting better, the characters are less irritating now and although Meredith is a grand royal pita she gets mire bearable.

And Greys have the record of giving me a 2 day sob-induced headache at a (I think) season finale. Won't spoiler it, but it's the moment where a patient writes something on a hand. Devastating.

Meredith definately becomes less annoying as time goes by and her character changes.

I agree about Arizona - I was devastated with this season's premiere both for the obvious reason and because they genuinely raised my hopes that Arizona and April were gone. Both irritate me so much.

I'm not that keen on most of the new interns yet either and a mass cull at the end of the season would not break my heart.

Love Christina, Bailey, Webber and Alex though.

At what point does she become less annoying? I'm at the part were both the doctor and vet are fighting over her. Why??

I adore Grey's. Started watching 5 years ago when pregnant with DS. As for the characters, I love them all. Even this season's new interns. But my all time favourite is Christina.

I still love grey's. Izzy was the only one who drove me crazy in the end. Am oddly attached to Meredith.

I felt quite uncomfortable about private practice. The drs were (mostly) massively unethical, and there were some rape & abortion related story lines which were incredibly right wing in a scary way.

I don't know if I'm going to get into that. I'm just wondering how Izzy managed to get left 8.4 million! What did heart guy do for a living? I wish I had a local bar like there's.

Oh, it's the ferry one. I've heard good things so I'm putting the kettle on.

I can't help thinking that I hope izzy at least bought her mum a little house before she gave all that money away.

I love Greys. Like seriously love it. But I can take or leave Meredith. But it wouldn't be the same without her. Fave characters are Karev, Callie, Hunt and George.

You'll like the ferry one - Meredith dies Smile

As if. I know one of them does eventually but, I do not know and I don't want to.

Bloody hell how many parts to the ferry crash is there? I'll have to have a drink now.

How could she possibly survive the drowning and her brain be intact she's been out for at east 30 minutes.

Is she nearly dead yet still?

No she's bloody awake and back to work like not happened. Now Issy has started to get on my wick. I was actually relieved that the episode I'm on has followed Addison to the private practice. I'll watch the season 3 finale tonight and then I'm going to have to decide whether to carry on.

It is worth sticking with, there is definitely a change in the characters which makes them more bearable. I think Meredith makes it through a whole season without incident eventually!

Keep watching! The last couple of series have been brilliant!

Christina is fantastic...but my absolute favourite is Callie (in the later series)

Private practice is brilliant!
