Cheering on the family is becoming a habit!

MrsReiver · 13/02/2013 09:57

Right decision for ALL of her children.

REALLY??

Shock And this was the thread where we rooted for the family. Sad

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 13/02/2013 09:57

Blimey, that has put a downer on my day.

HolidayArmadillo · 13/02/2013 09:57

The right thing for all of her children?? You keep telling yourself that love.

Meglet · 13/02/2013 09:57

The right thing for all of her children Hmm. How?!!

BinarySolo · 13/02/2013 09:57

Persecution complex. People label you before they know you.

MrsJREwing · 13/02/2013 09:57

The daughter doesn't even live with Dad or GP, she lives with friends.

Lollybrolly · 13/02/2013 09:58

Wow - that was a shocker!!

I also noticed there were hardly any pics of the daughter on that dresser behind them. Sad Or if there was I missed them.

Lollybrolly · 13/02/2013 09:58

Feel really depressed now.

Sparklingbrook · 13/02/2013 09:58

Just thinking who i could leave DS1 with when I emigrate. That's a lot for a 'family friend' to take on. Isn't that um, 'adoption'?

SconeInSixtySeconds · 13/02/2013 09:59

Right, I am off to unpack some more boxes - coincidentally from Australia. And curse under my breath at the kind of people who can leave a child behind and then brag that they never had a doubt for a minute about doing it.

Angry
hugoagogo · 13/02/2013 09:59

I am sure her daughter is better off though.

susiedaisy · 13/02/2013 09:59

Coming in at very last moment, and i remember this couple from first time round, the mother is hard person with cold eyes IMO, I couldn't take to her at all,

Horsemad · 13/02/2013 09:59

This has really annoyed me Angry

Can't believe how selfish they are.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 13/02/2013 09:59

The right thing for all your children indeed?. Wonder what Amy thinks of that pronouncement?.

Think this woman gave up on her daughter as a bad lot and has pinned all her hopes instead on her three boys. I wonder what they will think of their mother when they are old enough to realise.

MunchkinsMumof2 · 13/02/2013 10:00

I just can't believe it, I don't think Amy's Dad played a part as she would have lived with him if he had prevented her from going. I miss my children when they're at school Blush I just can't comprehend the thought process of leaving your child 12,000 miles away. She had put me in a bad mood and brought back sad memories, grrrrrr.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 13/02/2013 10:00

I hope Karma comes and bites her, she really is beyond awful.

Horsemad · 13/02/2013 10:00

Yy re. the mother's eyes Susie

MrsJREwing · 13/02/2013 10:01

Did they sell or rent the UK house?

SconeInSixtySeconds · 13/02/2013 10:01

Munch, don't let it upset you too much. You are not that woman and your children are all the better for it.

DreamsTurnToGoldDust · 13/02/2013 10:03

Munch, ((hug))

Salbertina · 13/02/2013 10:04

I actually might complain to BBC- they've normalized, trivalised -and got entertainment from - child abandonment. How dare they!

Sparklingbrook · 13/02/2013 10:04

The Mum reminded me of Liz Jones looks wise.

Don't be upset Munch.

MunchkinsMumof2 · 13/02/2013 10:04

Ah thank you Scone, I just don't think you ever get over your Mum leaving you. I have forgiven my Mum now as she had an abusive childhood so was trying her best to be a good parent to us with limited resources.
