Anyone else watching?

how was he allowed to be incacerated as an adult at 15?

I guess his age is the reason he escaped the death sentence.

The American system really is totally about retribution - and not rehabilitation - isn't it?

They're literally kept in cages.

I can't stop thinking about this today, 23 hours a day in a tiny cell then 1 hour in a cage outside since 1989 when he was only 15 Sad

There was a case in the news fairly recently about an american boy who I think was only 13 being tried in court as an adult for the murder of his little brother, does anyone remember that? It was a really horrific case and the boy had a terrible home life from the reports I read. I think it was because it was so shocking and extreme that they decided to try him as an adult so it could be the same for Ronald.

I watched. Struggled with Ronald's case if I am honest. Felt he should have been allowed a second chance.

All those blokes sleeping together in that one plan bit too. Surely that is a riot waiting to happen.

That said, may be our sentencing should be similar? Not death sentences as I am not us about that but much harsher.
