I have The Big Bang Theory box set and am laughing muchly.

I am a latecomer to this, caught a few repeats on E4 and decided I needed to follow it from the start.
Watched the one where Sheldon is stuck on a problem and is in the ball pit with Leonard, laughed till I cried.

just had to add "sheldon" is my fav absolutely love him. watched sheldon's best episodes last night on E4 it was brilliant.

sheldon saying Bazinga in the ball pit - is my fav episode! watched it on E4 first then had to switch to plus1 to watch it again. It had to be done Grin

oh isla - i ENVY you getting to see this amazing programme for the first time. Repeat viewings are never the same.

I second the opinions of Amy being a brilliant character. I won't do spoilers but, honestly, the development of her, Sheldon and their "relationship" is writing gold.

The episode where Sheldon serenades her with a rose between his teeth ...

It's definitely the successor to Friends for being able to watch the same episodes over and over again and still enjoy them.

We only got into BBT earlier this year but we are truly addicted and have all the DVDs.

Also got 14yo hooked, to the extent that 2 of her Xmas presents were (this won't make sense if you haven't seen season 5 yet) a poseable Spock, and white gloves with a moustache on each index finger! :o

It is by far and away the funniest thing on TV. We seem to randomly pick up all sorts of out of order episodes on various channels, just flicking through, but it doesn't matter - they 'stand alone' well. It's rare to get a TV show in this house that all of us like (dh, me, dcs aged 16 - 11) Smile

I gave DH a robot evolution tshirt that is the same as Sheldon wears. I found it on amazon but it turns out there's a whole website dedicated to the gang's tshirts! It's called sheldonshirts.com or something like that.

I was also trying to get him the 3D Star Trek chess they play (since he also likes Star Trek and loves chess) but it turns out it was made by the franklin mint and goes for around £100! Shock

Some of my favourite moments are the tiara, the ball pit, and the bongos. Also Howard opening the dove pan thing, and where he's doing the space training "I ate a butterfly!"

My dc got me into BBT but DH doesn't think it is funny. I bought box set when it dropped suddenly in price on Amazon before xmas.

My fav episode is the xmas present one,I almost cry each time when Penny says "look Lenard Shelden's hugging me" Grin Sheer brilliance.

Didn't know there was a game though will have to look it up.

i love it....

i live with a sheldon. DS has aspergers, though DH pointed out that i always need to sit in the same place sheldon does on the sofa the other day Grin

its genius. i also love the xmas pressie one where penny gives sheldon the signed napkin.....

i cant wait for the next one - it had a break over xmas! i need the box sets!

LI.zS the makers may not have intended to make Shelton as, but all I know is we have been shown a YouTube clip of Shelton explaining his " friendship algorhythm" on a whiteboard in child psychiatry lectures to illustrate the trait of understanding social norms but nit really empathising with them!
