Did anyone see this?
I thought it was great! Gripping stuff.

My DH enjoyed it, I thought it was awful rubbish.

Dh wanted to watch it, I didn't. We taped 24 so he could watch it and half way through he turned to me and said 'Wish I'd listened to you now!!'

I watched it and I'm not quite sure what I think about it to be honest but then how can something be action packed when its set in a submarie?!!!! I also didn't think David Jason was that good actually I normally really rate him as an actor. But it did have me watching it from start to finsih and I will deferinly watch the concluding part tonight.

can anyone tell me the name of the actor who played one of the crew who also played a part in Frost? (not david jason!)

i liked it.cant wait to see tonights!

glad it's not just me who thought it was pants - very disappointing

I didn't understand the written stuff at the end. Something saying the cold war ended and the bodies of hardy and the captain were never found etc etc...it was written like it was a true story.

Thought it was crap TBH but DH was watching it and it's too cold in the conservatory to watch the other telly.

i remember seeing when they had started releasing the gas into submarine to get them to go to the surface. I think I woke up and saw the other old chap out of the submarine asking asking what year it was...I assume everyone got out of the submarine apart from the captain and David Jason who it then showed still inside (I think I went back to sleep then!!!)

The sub surfaced into a strange electrical storm. The crew was persuaded to get off into liferafts, which were rescued by the support boat and they went back to their 1981 selves.

The captain stayed below and David Jason realised that he had to stop him as he was going to attempt to recreate the mission, which would result in attacking a Russian naval base and starting the 3rd world war.

The Russians spotted the sub on the radar and started preparing to set off missiles.

DJ went back below. The Captain and the rest of his (now invisible) ghost crew carried on. DJ sabotaged the torpedoes. The captain shot DJ. He fired the torpedoes which blew up the back end of the sub. The sub went down. Now all the 1943 crew are reunited in death.

6 mnths later, naval briefing. The Russians have found the Scorpio, which is covered in weeds etc and obviously has been below the water for 60 yrs.

LOL Futurity!! I did exactly the same thing!! Dh shook me and said 'If it's that's dull, why don't you go to bed!!' So, I did!!
