If another hasn't been started.
How were David and Eric in the bottom two?
I don't get it.

Yes I noticed the bandages too. I am also assuming its from the coffee spillage. He must have scalded himself quite badly as that was last week sometime wasn't it? It hasn't been mentioned since. I would imagine its been looked after by people who work on the show as in that environment it could get infected.

chipstick10 · 27/11/2012 23:17

Hope david doesn't win. Not keen. Love ash Charlie and Hugo. Eric is gross.

deleted203 · 28/11/2012 00:07

I seem to be the odd one out but I LOATHED Rosemary and I like Eric. She was bossy, irritating, patronising and rude - completely lacking in any self awareness of how arrogant it is to talk over the top of people, order them about and then come out with comments like, 'I'm a nice person. I AM'. She is really offensive to people's faces and then sits for the camera going, 'Oh but I absolutely adore Hugo, he's such a sweetie'. So two faced. Eric on the other hand couldn't give a shit about his PR. He is just blunt and says what he's thinking. I don't mind that at all - you know where you are with him, nothing two faced about it. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and, as my grandad used to say, 'calls a spade a bloody shovel'. Like him saying to Helen, 'You look bloody stupid' over the fake tan. Like Ashley said, he doesn't have a filter. If he thinks something then it comes out his mouth.

reddwarf · 28/11/2012 03:54

No, I disagree with that (re Eric). There's a world of difference between calling a spade a spade - (being straightforward and honest), and being downright rude and unpleasant. The filter is an important tool for getting along within a community without unnecessarily hurting other people. Hugo for example was straight with Helen about her ridiculous bra, but he said it in a measured and thoughtful way.

This whole calling a spade a spade thing seems to be an excuse for riding roughshod over everone's feeling and at the same time getting applauded for being so straight talking. Don't like at all.

deleted203 · 28/11/2012 04:11

Fair enough. But I reckon I could have stood Eric better in the jungle. I'd have had to hit Rosemary with the bloody shovel within a day or two!

bigTillyMint · 28/11/2012 06:42

Missed IAC last night, so just catching up on the thread.

Just realised who Helen was/is - Corrie

Wiki says Rosemary was born in 51, daughter born 72 which makes the DD 40!

But what exactly happenend with Charlie's DD?

Mrsjay · 28/11/2012 08:37

ooo Fatima you could have waited until celeb finished so you didnt miss any Grin congrats Thanks

I hated the behind the door challenge not fair on a little girl she did look like she knew it was a game IYSWIM, im sure she will be fine still didnt like it , anyway I am a bit Sad Rosemary went thought it be Eric oh well

Mrsjay · 28/11/2012 08:38

Rosemary's daughter is 40 Shock she looks younger or maybe i just look like a sea hag Grin

Mrsjay · 28/11/2012 08:40

I would imagine its been looked after by people who work on the show as in that environment it could get infected.

Thats what I thought they are just keeping it covered so it doesn't get infected

Nancy66 · 28/11/2012 09:00

Glad Rosemary's gone, she was a pain in the arse.

Ashley is my favourite. There's an underlying bitchiness with Charlie that I don't see in Ashley

Mrsjay · 28/11/2012 09:03

do you think charlie has bitchiness in her I just think people annoy her and she sigh a lot I don't think she is bitchy but yes ashley is like a ray of sunshine she sort of wafts about being lovely Grin

LIZS · 28/11/2012 09:04

Apparently Helen is regretting participating now Hmm Perhaps if she had acted her age instead of that of a child half it, she might have gained more respect. Bit of glamour work then sink without trace. Why is Eric still in there, who is voting for him ?

Mrsjay · 28/11/2012 09:06

does she do a lot of FHM magazine ? I think she will be begging to go back into corrie she was a bit sheepinsh and looked nervous when she was on ITV2 last night

Nancy66 · 28/11/2012 09:11

....i really like ERic!

Helen, if she has any sense, will milk it for all it's worth now. She's a shockingly shit actress and she's not going to get any work in that field.

noddyholder · 28/11/2012 09:13

Thank god Charlie didn,t get to see her daughter they looked like big show biz little showbiz. A cockney Shirley temple.

noddyholder · 28/11/2012 09:14

Rosemary an awful, over bearing woman. Love Hugo but hope Ashley or David win

theliverpoolone · 28/11/2012 10:44

I agree with Nancy66, Ashley seems so genuinely lovely, you can't imagine her saying anything bitchy about anyone, whereas I don't get that feeling about Charlie......

The papers today are saying Helen pulled out of yesterday's morning interviews as she was having "anxiety issues" Hmm. Couldn't be arsed getting out of her comfy bed, more like......(yes, I'm more of a Charlie than an Ashley Grin).

recall · 28/11/2012 11:11

Did anyone else cry at Charlie's reaction when she realised that her daughter was so close Sad I'm ashamed to admit I was actually doing sobbing BlushGrin and also, did anyone else belly laugh at Rosemary in the bath Grin

noddyholder · 28/11/2012 12:11

Charlie is a good actress nothing she says or does seems genuine to me I hope she goes next

chipstick10 · 28/11/2012 12:38

I think Charlie's reaction was one hundred percent genuine.

noddyholder · 28/11/2012 13:02

Really? I am surprised she seems so ott fake to me?

I don't think Charlie was being fake about her dd. I'd have been a mess if my dss had been behind a door. I haven't seen any bitchiness in her? I would imagine they all get tetchy in there? It's well edited though, we only see a small amount. Rosemary mentioned Hugo with the bag and hot cinders, had we seen that? I don't think so.

girliefriend · 28/11/2012 14:19

I was properly crying when they did that doors challenge last night Sad poor kid, really unfair to do that to a young child Sad It made me think of the Truman show really mucking about with people emotions for the entertainment benefit.

I bet that little girl cried her heart out when she didn't see her mummy, my dd would have done. Thought Ant and Dec were quite heartless about the whole thing tbh Angry

Mrsjay · 28/11/2012 15:06

I dont think charlie was faking she looked upset but I think they are a really tight mother and daughter though I think kiki (daft name) will be fine,
