crime tv series with strong female lead?

looking for a new 'just-one-more-episode' (pref crime) tv series, with a strong female character??

not asking much am i?

Second The Killing
And Wire in the Blood

And not a female lead but oh my god Luther was amazing - first series especially.

Sticking wi Scandinavian crime the Wallander tv series (Krister Henrikson sp? not Brannagh) had good female characters esp the prosecutor in supporting roles.

Oh and yy to New Tricks too. It's a bit of a twee concept, but Amanda Redman is fantastic. And Simone Lahbib was in it recently.

Aaaaand she was in Single-Handed too, which was excellent. Male lead, but he is vair gorgeous.

deadhedgehogpatronus Yes indeed the fair Simone was in New tricks for one wonderful episode and was also in a whole series of single handed!

Also, if you know Simone through her Bad Girls fame (loads of strong females in that!) Mandana Jones was so on Silent Witness for about 30 seconds of an episode not too long ago!
