LittleBruzzenBear- men are in the next but one series. The series after the Brits vs Uk is college/uni girls. But it's the first without Nige and the Jays.

Mrs Risotto! The girl with the blonde and coloured hair is HUGELY irritating and reminds me of somebody I grew up with. I don't care for her much!

Can't believe Nigel and the Jays are leaving, they are a big part of ANTM.

This series is utter muck so far. I shall have to persevere with it though. Sigh.

Maryzed and anyone else streaming - make sure you have a generous broadband allowance before you do so please! I had an allowance of 25gb on a dongle thing and my sister came and stayed and streamed stuff on her laptop all bloody week - my bill was over E200! She lives with my parents and they have broadband of 250gb and streams all the time, so it's fine if you have a generous allowance I assume but be careful!

I find the bit in the credits where Tyra mouths "want some" in a cutesy way really cringey

Tyra has officially lost the plot. Even if she has just graduated from Harvard...

As Tyra is now a Harvard graduate she can now gleefully deviate from the English Language - seriously how many made up words were in that show?

I'm not enjoying this season yet.

Challenge wise my favorites have to be the early ones. The one in the first series where they made them model bikinis in -4 on a New York roof top. That was harsh! I also loved any involving animals/insects/heights/nudity that would result in someone crying. They are beyond ridiculous now. How does eating an entire haggis help you be a better model.

Someone needs to bring a restraining order against Tyra on behalf of the English language. Every time she uses a 'Modelland' 'word'. Please God. Don't they teach them not to say crazy shit at HARVARD? Which is where she's been studying for the last three years, don't you know.

Louise looks like the kind of person who can't understand why people are just so out-of-the-blue critical just because she's like honest and true to herself.

As per one of my earlier posts, not surprised Louise went, but that publicist was/is a cow-bag though. I should imagine she is good at what she does, but no people skills. Others were sucking it up and Louise was being honest, however, such a waste, Louise has an amazing face and looked fab with that haircut. Not enjoying the challenges either. Not many beauties in this season IMO. Who is the Brit girl who looked like Katy Perry in last week's shoot? I like her. Other than that, I thought Louise was best-looking.

Youwiththeface I think Tyra sholud pursue an acting career - the way she managed to summarise the plot of Modelland without cracking up with laughter was awe-inspiring

littleAbruzzen Louise has clearly never watched ANTM, she should know that if you come across as having attitude the judges will bait you until you finally snap. I felt sorry for her - I hate it when people are humiliated.

I felt sorry for her too Ida. If she had watched the show before then she may have 'played the game' and kept quiet.

But there IS a difference between rude and honest! Louise was well over that line. If you are taking part in a competition where your goal is at least to get good contacts and build a US presence of some form, where your reactions are going to be televised AND you have already participated in a smaller version, you should be highly aware of how you come across in front of future employers/references. She could have been equally honest by saying "Thank you for your opinion/criticism" and shutting the hell up.

(And seriously, if you go on one of these shows without watching the previous ones, you're a fool.)

Idablankenship Tyra has pursued an acting career she was in coyote ugly and this really dire film with Lindsey Lohan where she played a doll. Wasn't she also in fresh prince of bel air?

I'm so tempted to read modelland but I don't want to waste money. I also don't have the guts to ask at the library.

Youwith - oh no, I agree that Louise was rude, but you knew exactly how that scenario was going to play out, and the panel for sure would have kept on until they got some sort of reaction out of her. I think they were right to call her on her attitude, I just don't like it when people get that upset. And whatserface on the panel was a beeeyatch!
Funnily enough though, I don't really remember Louise from BNTM, was she this mardy on that show?
Frilly - go on get it from the library, and then you can let me know how awful it is so I don't have to go & read it myself!

Louise had a long dark makeover. She was really narked off about it. She ended up as runner-up to Lauren McAvoy; I don't remember her especially but I remember really rooting for Lauren because she was Not Louise.

I just had to google Lauren, I remember her now. It speaks volumes how unmemorable 99.9% of ANTM / BNTM winners actually are.
I reckon someone has to read Modelland. Perhaps we should draw straws and the loser has to report back with choice edited highlights.
