Can anyone tell me why they're worried about Debbie's birth? I don't watch Emmerdale that often, dip in and out occasionally as I'm usually in the middle of putting DCs to bed but I wanted to watch the live one.

Think it's all to do with the harvesting of the stem cells, Robin. Her other child has leukemia.

They need to harvest the stem cells from the baby's cord to try and save her daughter who has some form of aneamia (sp)
