we have so many drunk arseholes in our country, depressing as hell

Fellforit · 24/09/2012 22:50

Awful, there for the grace of God

KillerRack · 24/09/2012 22:50

He was obviously so used to DV that the kid was just so calm it was wierd.

those phonecalls are awful, how do the operators stay so calm with that level of screaming.

Im watching it on 4 + 1
So sad Sad

hippoCritt · 24/09/2012 22:55

Watching it on +1 too I am really shocked at the lady who thinks this happens to everyone, so sad especially for the children

KillerRack · 24/09/2012 22:56

Good on that lass who pressed charges.

I'm watching on +1, It's one of the most distressing things I've ever watched, those poor children Sad

aimingtobeaperfectionist · 24/09/2012 23:01

Watching on 4+1, can't believe someone pregnant wouldn't want her abuser arrested? Not even to protect her child?

KillerRack · 24/09/2012 23:08

As awful as it sounds I did feel angry towards some of the women
especially the one who's kid wanted to be a policeman to 'protect mummy'.
Shame no one was protecting him.

Don't judge them, judge the men for being violent bastards. It's easy to feel angry towards the women but it's misplaced.

KillerRack · 24/09/2012 23:19

Of course I blame the men for the violence, but I judge some of the women for putting their 'relationship' above their own safety and that of their children.

Who cares about the kids? :'(

I grew up in a DV and my dm rightly so feels bad for not protecting us as much as possible. As well as realizing he was the abused if that makes sense.
