Just watched a rerun of Father Ted. I never tire of it. I cant usually watch something more than once.

I need something different. Not Miranda. I just dont get it.

Both are excellent.

The other one which I absolutely love is Green Wing (a bit off the wall but the characters are fabulous, especially Dr Alan Statham - I can laugh just thinking of a few of the things he did/said!!)

Be warned though. You will be watching The Middle & suddenly think to yourself 'is this a documentary? This is my life!'

Yes to The Middle - I have 3 dcs and it most definitely is my life. Axel is soooo like my ds - ds looks at me and laughs when Axel does something just like him.

Also Modern family, and we adore TBBT. For British comedy The Thick of It is good value.

The IT crowd, definitely! Also love Blackadder, although I imagine if you're a Father Ted fan you will have already watched both of those tirelessly.

Have you seen moone boy yet? Just started on sky 1 last week, very very funny. If you like father Ted and black books and you want to feel a blast from the early nineties you'll love it!

There's a great one off comedy called Pat and Margaret that is occasionally shown on UK Gold and def. worth a view. Starts Victoria Wood and julie Walters about two long lost sisters. Worth getting on DVD. Very funny

....but never once have I laughed at Mrs Brown's Boys.

An honourable mention for the fabulous Still Game.
I'm a little bit addicted to Everybody Loves Raymond in the mornings, if you want something that's being shown on telly at the moment. C4.
