Person Of Interest anyone?

I quite like it, although Reese's voice drives me mad. I have read that it really finds its feet later in the series and some of the storylines come together.

Could never get into the Reacher books but agree with nooooooooooooo to Tom Cruise, and yes Reese/Jim would be perfect. I love the way his face changes from cold/tough to soft/vulnerable, a good case in point being the Elias episode of PoI.

I am very disappointed that its now on a mid-season break, it was just getting interesting.

I'm only watching it so I can lust after the gorgeous Jim Caviezel!

Mid season break is beyond stupid and very annoying. They're a good 4 or 5 episodes into S2 in the US so it's not like it's a delay because we're waiting for them to broadcast. I accidentally read ahead on Wiki and want to see the rest now!

I am a little lost about who Elias is

I'm glad it's not just me and DH who can hardly ever understand what Reese is saying! We just thought that it was bad acoustics.... I think Cavaziel is absolutely gorgeous - didn't he play Christ in 'The Passion of the Christ'? I think I remember reading he is a devout catholic and he and his wife have adopted a few disabled children - sounds like great guy in rl too.

Mid-season breaks are annoying, I agree, especially when five are already over a year behind. It will only change if it gets insanely good ratings though - they might speed up and catch up with US air dates. You'd still get the break but you would at least be up to speed with everyone else!

Season 1 will be released in UK in January 2013, you can order it on Amazon. If you are a fan you will buy DVD and watch the rest of the season over the weekend without waiting. C5 made a mistake and is going to pay for it. Love the show.

So tempted to pre-order the DVD or find a proxy server that will let me watch via the CBS site
