I think, in all honesty, that you would have to be a saint not to bitch about folk in that sort of environment.
They have no other diversions whatsoever - no books, TV, computers, radio, newspapers, ipods, games - nothing to distract them from each other.
The only thing they have to do all day is watch and listen to each other.
And just to top it all off, they have to live and even sleep together.
Who wouldn't get p**d off with folk living in that sort of set up?
There is no privacy whatsoever - even the diary room has people/cameras watching so no wonder they often go in there a spill their guts and say more than they intended to.
And most of us have many faces - and a good job we have too. if we were all completely honest all the time, I think the world would stop turning.
Imagine being locked in there with your nearest and dearest for 3 weeks (or however long it is) without any distractions or diversions.
Most of us would be almost ready to strangle our loved ones by the end of it.
It must be doubly difficult with a group of random folk.
I love it.

I think it's more than bitching though - Julie is actively trying to turn the other housemates against Colleen whilst telling Colleen that she loves her.

I understand being cooped up & talking about people but what Julie is doing is downright nasty.

i think julian is starting to see the other side to Julie - he seems to be keeping his distance more.

I think Julie would quite like to have Colleen's career. JG appears to be a woman who doesn't especially like the company of other women.

I wonder what Julie's ex colleagues make of Julie now.

I agree with onedev - what Julie is doing goes further than bitching. She's actively scheming against and lying about Colleen.

She comes across as an old woman who is only comfortable with two types of men - young ones who she can safely admire because they regard her as 'Gran' and gay men who are 'safe' in a different manner.

I can't remember if Julie has ever come over as badly as this to the public before.

She generally enjoys a good profile - or at least she did in her heyday when she was in demand for interviews and it would have been suicide to slag her off because you would have been blackballed by the Granada press office.

I wonder if her behaviour has damaged her prospect of panel appearance on things like Loose Women, which I guess is one of the things she's aiming at as mignonette mentioned.

Of course I might be wrong and she's already on Loose Women or something. I don't watch but I do know who Coleen, Carol McGiffen, Denise Welch the rest of them are. Haven't noticed Julie.

I don't think Julie is on loose women. She must be hoping for something though, or else why go on the show?

Danica is a master of flirtation. You almost have to admire the girl.
Harvey dislikes her, because he is a misogynist and feels that only men should be 'allowed ' to cheat.

I do not think Loose women will touch her with a barge pole now she has made 'one of their own' - Colleen- so upset.

I liked Danica when she nominated and when she did the 'it's not my problem I don't fancy you' with The Sitch. But then she ruined it with the 'don't be mean to me, I'm a girlie' tears later.

what did Coleen supposedly do 'in the bedroom' during the Gods and Mortals task, which Julie was talking about? What did she say? I haven't seen her bitching at all really, or have I missed something?

Hello Ladies. Back from holiday and have completely caught up with thread and CBB.

Oh my word!!!! Julie is a right snarky bitch, she made me want to vomit with the groping of the poor lad in the gold shorts and the banana, it wasn't even funny just really creepy. I know we will all have to see that again when they show her best bits, but to be honest I wish they wouldn't as it makes me feel really uncomfortable and ill.

Harvey is nasty plain and simple with complete double standards, Ashley IS simple and has to have someone to lead him.

Hoping Martin grows some balls soon and outs Julie, only person with any balls is Danica.
