I didn't divorce my kids - anybody see it?

Seems like a million of these programmes but i really liked this one - liked the psychologist guy a lot. Amazing to see the second dad actually change his whole attitude to his younger daughter. although in both cases the elder daughter seemed to disappear from the screen halfway through - maybe they'd had enough?

I caught the end of this after No Angels acnebride and agree that the psychologist is a lovely, humane, child-centred man.
I missed the initial info on the second dad with the tragic haircut - what was with all this dwelling in the past and not wanting to commit to life up north?
Came away from it saddened at some parents' stupidity though (well, some dads on the basis of the second dad, mocking the ballet moves of the younger one as soon as favoured older daughter appeared) and saw one programme a couple of weeks ago where both mother and father were really emotionally abusing each other and their kids at handover time. The dad "started it" I guess but the mum was caught in a spiral of hatred and resentment that was not comfortable to watch.

Yes, I saw that one too - can't remember the name - the one with the American mediation woman who was really brilliant and all the parents seemed quite deluded... Tragic Hair Dad had been in a band when younger and was clearly still hung up on Less Tragic Hair Mum, who'd been his partner in crime in the glory days. Basically I think he had the potential to grow up but hadn't wanted to. He got to grips with it in the end, according to the programme (though you always wonder how much it's rejigged to fit the 'story'.) Certainly little Jasmine looked much happier - not a dry eye in my house.
