More umming and ahhing over whether Mary and Matthew are getting married?! I've decided I can't bear it and will wait until the series is over to get the DVD box set.

Hate Matthew ever since he was on the Review Show,smirking like a smug public-schoolboy,and spitefully dissing books on the Booker shortlist.Arrogant little schmuck....

I think you are getting the character & the actor confused there

Oh yes I know!but Dan Stevens has put me right off Matthew. All I see now is smug spitefulness

I liked the actor in The Line of Beauty, but Matthew is a drip!

Mary needs another Mr Pamuk. Several of them in fact.

No Mary's the strong one and Mathew in touch with his feminine side perfect! I also like a man who's a touch drippy!
