Does anyone remember a series called "Gentlemen and Players" (starred Brian Prothero). His character got his friends teenage DD pregnant. I was working away from home (having left school) and it used to be on Sunday evenings, sometimes managed to catch it.

Also Howards Way- ooooh, the glamour, what I aimed for, but never achieved.

And at school, The Young Ones. Very dated now.

And ,blast from the past, those Hammer House of Horror films. Perfect with a midnight feast Grin

Andrea Newman's "Sense of Guilt" in the 90s
I didn't see the original Bouquet of Barbed Wire, but recently watched the Trevor Eve remake.

Showing my age but Hawaii 50 (the original), shown on Friday evenings. Mum used to give us money for a packet of sweets each and we used to eat whilst watching it. Really happy memories.

Also, a really funny programme that I can't remember the name of. It was a spoof police documentary and to me was the original The Office (its ilk). Was on in the 90s.

Its - thank you, I had forgotten that programme. The one I was thinking of was Operation Good Guys - I googled it and found it this time.

Whenever I hear 'Brothers In Arms' by Dire Straits I think of a programme called 'Civvies'. It was about soldiers returning to civilian life. Early 90's. My wee brother and I watched it as teenagers.

We loved it. My brother died 2 years ago so hear the song brings tears to my eyes.
