For those who dont watch it-

Big Brother on channel 5-one of the male contestents dislikes a female contestent called deana. He and a few other of the males have been really nasty and imo are bullying her.

Last night he said that he was going to "fuck her up the arse and the minge with her own epilator"

He then threatened to knock her out.

On the follow up programme bit on the side I felt they were trying to down play how bad his behaviour was although clearly the audience felt differently.

Aibu to think that he should have been booted out immediately for such disgusting remarks?...

You're bringing her colour and sex into this.

She's Asian, female, physically attractive and in my opinion very confident.

But again imo (and that of a few others I've heard) she's still acted like a twat on more than a few occasions and a snob and a Drama Queen to boot.

That's BB for you though. You'll rarely get a mix of nice people.

At the risk of sounding like a BB geek, Alex was booted off a few years back for threatening behaviour, and hers was much more subtle.

I don't watch BB so what I know of her I know from other sources. This stuff can be subtle however, I think the act of scapegoating is actually more interesting than whether it is a direct result of her ethnicity or gender. Just saying, it is more commonly someone from an 'other' group. It may well be that in this case it is because she is a bit of an arse although the rest of them sound borderline psychotic and they aren't being attacked.

I can see what you're saying and I would agree about 'other group' in any other situation.

But BB?

Their are gay/straight/bi/confused/trans gender and just about every single 'other' you could imagine.
