Wow. That was moving. Amazing people - Terri, dad, stepmum, doctors, support woman in US etc.

I do hope she manages to form a relationship with her mum one day.

Thanks - managed to catch it on 5+1. It was so wonderful to see that Terri's growing into a confident young woman. Think her stepmum's pretty special too.

was a lovely programme

I finally watched this and also found I humbling. My daughter had 50% burns last year. Her strength an positivity made me feel much more positive about my daughters future. It also helped me me put thing s in perspective and stop feeling sorry for myself (well my daughter).

My daughter is under the care of the same consultant. Strange seeing him and the hospital on tv.

The mother horrified me. Dreadful to leave a cigarette in a babies room. Unforgivable not to go into the room to save her. Surely any parent would put their life on the line to save their child.
