Was thinking exactly the same thing!

Houses must be very cheap on Coronation Street.

Must be the same bank who gave Steve the mortgage to buy the house he carved up.
Before he sold the pub.
When he was up to his neck in debt and cast Kevin evil looks for getting 'his' winning scratch card.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I thought you needed 15% deposit these days. Will Audrey cough up.

I know, it does seem very easy. And Tommy was able to just get one. I know he had 12k, so more believable, but still.

Mind, I do think the houses on that side of the street would be rather cheap, say £60k/£70k? Though it's all relative, as wages aren't as big up t'north.

GnocchiNineDoors · 30/05/2012 18:34

Maybe it was as cheap as this one? Grin

It made me laugh how stroppy they got with Eileen, because she took the house of the market before the viewing!!! Threatening to take legal action or summat!! It was a bloody VIEWING!!! So, what if they'd have viewed it and decided it wasn't for them? Could Eileen sue them for not buying!! Confused
