I'll ignore for a moment that E4 seem to be showing adverts a week in advance of what is actually show, because while its annoying, it doesn't really matter, and get straight to the point.

How/When did I miss one??? I must have done somewhere, and yet I was convinced that I'd watched them all so far.

Where did Susan go??? I assumed she just was having different shifts for a few weeks, which was why she hadn't been in it - then last night they are talking about filling her job.

Why were they treating a chimp (I know i've already asked, but no-one seemed to know)?

What made alien nurse decide that whingy cow and Luka were allowed matching shifts after all??

Why was the girl's dad thumping Ray and blaming him - I thought she'd muttered last week that she'd been sleeping with several guys, and that as Ray was clear, she must have got it off someone else???

What happened to all the new interns (like the one Neela made cry)?

And completely irrelevant - why did they cut off robo-doc's hair? I liked the slightly mad shaggy dog look!

(And before she comes on to say it Expat wants Luka's babies )

Not sure I can answer all of them, but here goes.

No idea about Susan, but this seems to happen every season - someone is missing and a vague explanation materialises later on. I think Sam and Luka were allowed to work the same shift when alien cow saw how well they could work together and also she promoted Sam (so she could sack Halle) - but not sure what that has to do with shifts.

Robo-doc is being treated for cancer, which I assume is the reason his hair has been cut (doens't it normally fall out??).

I missed the beginning of the episode where they treated the chimp.

Flamesparrow · 17/02/2006 08:50

Oooh, good point about the hair... I'll forgive them then!

They mentioned in passing that Susan had moved to Iowa. Everyone looked a bit bemused and they moved on.

Why they were treating a chimp - didn't figure that one out!

No idea about the interns! Prob lost somewhere!!! Were some of them doing stuff for Carrie Weaver?

And Expat will have to fight me for Luka!!!

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 08:56

Well, I'm watching on C4 - so thanks for telling me that jail bait's Dad comes and beats Ray up!

They were treating the chimp purely because the new doc was doing a friend a favour - he is into circuses, and knew the guy who was the chimp's handler.

Susan just got a new job and left - I don't know why it was so sudden, maybe the actress wanted to leave/they didn't renew her contract?

Freckle's right about Sam and Luka - they put aside their differences on a tricky case and 3rd Rock Nurse saw it and conceded they made a good team (personally couldn't work alongside Luka even if I hadn't sh@gged him - don't think I'd even be able to form a coherent sentence).

The interns have been coming and going like jack-in-a-box's - dunno what that's about.

And yes, robo doc has cancer - so I assume that's why the haircut.

Blandmum · 17/02/2006 08:59

Is robo doc the one that had sex with the call girl?

If so he wouldn't loose his hair. He has prostate cancer and that is treated with hormone treatment, not the chemotherapy that makes your hair fall out. Unless he has some strange secondary tumours....

BudaBabe · 17/02/2006 09:00

Wild thought - maybe he just cut his hair????

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 09:01

Don't be silly, BudaBabe - there has to be a reason

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 09:02

I'm glad Susan's gone - she always was dreary. Wish Sam would go to Iowa too.

Flamesparrow · 17/02/2006 09:02

Sorry SL.

So Robodoc's hair is still a bit of a mystery!!

I'm having some vague recollection about Susan now... did they go and stay with her sister or something, and she decided to work there instead to be closer to little Susie?

Tis all a very confusing season... I'm glad its not just me who seems to be a bit lost though - I was wondering if it was just hormones eating my brain!

Enid · 17/02/2006 09:03

that happened before with susan then she came back

if she has gone i am not watching it any more

it is really really crap now

Blandmum · 17/02/2006 09:03

But then she came back. And then her sister went bonkers in NY and she had to go and recue little suzi

Blandmum · 17/02/2006 09:04

I like House myself

I never work out what they patients have.....always too wierd!

Enid · 17/02/2006 09:04

yes

but as it was a joint episode with another show called 'third watch' that never got shown over here that episode never made any sense

hurramph

Flamesparrow · 17/02/2006 09:05

Suggesting that people cut their hair for the sake of it?????

OP posts:
Enid · 17/02/2006 09:05

yes I like House

bit glossy though

also have JUST started watching 6 feet under on dvd (finally) and it is so good that everything else seems rubbish

foxinsocks · 17/02/2006 09:06

I assumed the girl had finally told the dad what she had got - she probably doesn't know where it came from. The dad cottoned on to Ray's nervous behaviour when they came to speak to Neela and probably forced some sort of confession out of her (I imagine she didn't tell him about the many others!).

DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER IF YOU ARE WATCHING ON CHANNEL 4

For all those watching on E4, didn't you think the kiss at the end was a bit weak - I mean, not that it happened, but that it looked a bit passionless.

Flamesparrow · 17/02/2006 09:06

House is gooood

OP posts:
Blandmum · 17/02/2006 09:06

He is obviously suffereing from a strange hair cutting disease that he got from is natural father, who we have never seen, but will turn up in the next episode. He will then go away and the strange disease will cause him to return in the next series looking like someone else!

foxinsocks · 17/02/2006 09:07

I love House and I never thought I'd warm to Hugh Lawrie with a US accent but I have to admit, he's good!

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 09:07

I think it's picked up a bit with the introduction of the new characters, Enid - I was on the verge of giving up watching myself but I enjoyed it last week.

Big plane crash coming up soon (saw it in RT).

And the cute beardy guy (Abby's bit of stuff) just disappeared too - I know they have mentioned him but pouf just vanished without so much as a by-your-leave.

Do you think I should get dressed?

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 09:08

Hugh Laurie is interviewed on the last page of next week's RT - he's a truly grumpy and miserable sod - utterly negative in every question (bar one, about his father).

Enid · 17/02/2006 09:08

hmm ok soren will give it another go

have two on sky + will watch later

Flamesparrow · 17/02/2006 09:09

If you get dressed then i'll have to really.... and that could set off a whole dangerous chain of events!

I'd forgotten about beardy (we're so good at character names ) - he was nice!

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 17/02/2006 09:09

he has been clinically depressed (he has admitted)

SorenLorensen · 17/02/2006 09:11

But I'm sitting here wrapped in a towel, with another one wrapped round my head...and you just know the Postman will come with a parcel when you do that...
