I'm on alibi time, so half way through season 4, but still watching series 2 on channel 5 Fridays. Is anyone else watching, and more importantly, are you rooting for Castle and Beckett?

I'm the only one then? Ah well...

Hey...just finished Season 4 Castle....I think its nice but when will they face the fact that they are perfect for each other??? Hmph!

Beckett is gorgeous. I fancy them both, and yes, they have to get together. It's the law. So there.

Not only do I love Castle, but I'm following Nathan Fillion on Twitter and I bought the Nicki Heat book for my Kindle - and it's great.

There are three Nikki Heat books with another one due out soon, I think. Frozen Heat if memory serves.

I love Castle but it has a weird affect on my accent - I'd normally say 'Cars-sel' (being a soft southerner) but due to it being said all American-like on the show, I keep calling it 'Cass-el' It's all very odd.

I'm all up-to-date, but I wouldn't dream of spoiling it for you

Series two tonight. My complete indulgence, I've seen them all already.

There's also a graphic novel I think of whatever his original detective was called I think (the one he kills off before Castle starts, hence needing him to research NYPD).

I heart Castle and Nathan Fillion even more

I love Castle and so does DS1. We watch them all even if we've seen them before (the benefit of having a crap memory - I forget what's happened from one week to the next so can watch repeats of anything!)

I can't believe there are real Nikki Heat books, I need to get them! Would it be suitable for a 12 yo boy or are the steamy scenes you mention 'proper' steamy?!

I hope in a way that Castle and Beckett don't get together as you know it will go wrong (House & Cuddy anyone?!) The tension is far more entertaining.

Yeah, it is a bit like that. I want them to get together but it's the nature of drama that they will then be pulled apart. I kinda think it'd be worth it though.

I remember a film about a waitress who made pies with Nathan Fillion as her doctor, which was really twee but also quite heart-warming (mainly because I love him and pies in equal measures!)

Yep - I think it was the 'Derrick Storm' series that made him all his money, then he killed him off to create a new character which entailed him doing all the research at NYPD.

Firefly. If you love Nathan Fillion you have to watch him as Captain Tightpants Mal. He is just wonderful.

Just finished Heat Wave. Hilarious to read as a tie-in. I could picture Castle and Beckett through the whole thing, which is rather the point. Highly recommended.

(I came to Castle following on from Buffy....It was really hard not to see him as the 'Big Bad / First Evil'. I think Nathan Fillion is fab in Castle, but in Buffy - Oh my God he was horrible)

Xander's eye OMG. Yes he was vile in that. Testament to the actor that I don't think of it while watching Castle.

Good one last night. I love story arcs and it was full of tension. I really like how they balance the darker stuff with lighter moments. Next week looks like a light fun one.
