Might just as well have called it "Alison Lapper Story". Yes, she is a remarkable woman, but I thought that these Wednesday things were meant to be telling the stories of some of the individual children, not their parents.
He is 5/6 now, he is more than capable of talking for himself, just asking him a few simple questions to find out a bit about him would have been nice, but no... we know all about what his mum's career is doing etc, and very very little about him.
I know that a lot of it does need to be about the parents and how they feel etc, but just some to do with the child would be good. They let the one with the violent dad talk about how he feels etc.
