Anyone know if I can stream films free from tv channels other than BBC?

I've got the laptop and wireless broadband but no tv as such. Anyone got bright ideas about whether I can get films from Channel 4/4od or others?

You can get some older films on BlinkBox for free and it's entirely legal. Channel 4 does do films on its Film4oD site but it charges a few quid per film (as does BlinkBox for most of its titles).
