I said to dh during the intensity of the phone off. 'Someone in rl (ie from mn) saw spencer and Louise together so...' He spluttered it's not real. But the kissing must be real.

DP came home from work half way through last nights episode and serendipitouslly came out with the old "I've unexpectedly got to fly to Edinburgh tomorrow for work" line. I have explained I know exactly what he is up to (clearly going to tell Louise he has strong feelings for her) and that a) he is too late as Spenny and 'the boy' have beaten him to it, and b) Louise wouldn't even entertain the idea of anyone as common as him anyway.

Highlight of the week for me tv wise! Jamie is lovely Loved Ollies jumper last night. Cheska so irritating but loved her dog. I miss caggie though she was tv gold with her pouting.

ohhh yeahhh I just finished watching it, so pleased that she chose Jamie but concerned about why her and Spencer were on their own!? Dh was looking for his phone to take a pic when they crossed the road, wish he'd got the evidence. He also saw Chloe Green recently too and now thinks one day that he might actually get to be in MIC.

I like Millie too, Rosie is a nasty little witch who is making herself look very jealous.

Yes, what were they doing together?! Your DH needs to do dome concerted stalking Strawberry. I was on the Kings rd /sloane square recently and spent the entire time furtively looking around in case I spotted some of the cast. SIL lives quite near Battersea park, I think I feel a visit is in order, she hasn't see her niece and nephew for a few weeks. I couldn't believe how tiny Louise was when they were all stood up at the party.

full info from dh - they were walking down Oxford Street in the pouring rain, Louise was covering her head with her fur waistcoat and Spencer called her a yeti in a very posh voice. They then crossed the road. That is all.

Poor Jamie , he may be a but dim for Louise though

This series has been vair dull so far. Not sure why 'local friend with benefits' Weez has suddenly captured the hearts of Chelsea. Caggie must have broken Spencer because he is now behaving like a total cunt (to quote Hully) towards everyone. I predict some sort of breakdown later on in the series, and maybe a few lines of Gabriella's "you gotta fiiiiiggt, for looooove" to try and win the Cagster back. Speaking of which, why oh why is Gabriella happy enough to be portrayed as the local lunatic? You'd think after the first 2 series she might have cottoned on to the scriptwriters' editors' casting plan for her.

I've just caught up with this and I've got a really dumb question to ask...

Is is all completely unreal? Is it just a soap opera or do their lives carry on as they are on screen beyond the call of 'cut!'? I don't get it. I understand if it's a soap, I understand if it's real life, but I don't understand if it's all pretend but pretending to be real.

I despised Jamie when he first appeared during the last series but I really really like him now. I agree the phone thing was great and I loved it when he and Weez got together at the end :)

I'm sure someone will know better than I do, as I find it a bit confusing, and frankly I'd rather watch it if it was a proper documentary. It's scripted, but presumably the script-writers take "inspiration" from stuff they'd do in real-life. I imagine the script-writers play fast and loose with what the characters really do on a day-to-day basis, but there's some grounding in leisure pursuits/social circles etc.

I wonder how the participants manage to hold on to their own sense of reality when the cameras stop rolling. Must feel weird. How would you know you're being authentic any more, even to yourself?

Oh why oh why does Spencer insist on pissing all over Jamie's territory? It's such bizarre 9 year old girl behaviour.

And I think Binky has become a twat, tbh. No real sense of loyalty towards anyone. Think I went off her when she started spending time with Spencer.

Love this series. Thank goodness Caggie has p* off. God I was so sick of her. I think she is sooo boring. I'm beginning to be rather interested in Proudlock as I don't get his act at all. What the hell is he about?
Love Francis forever. Binky apparently has a boyfriend in real life so a bit sidelined as not keen to date on the show. I'm so addicted!!
