Amanda Platell says modern women are unhappy because they are "ruining it for themselves".

Can't wait, have already warned Dh I'll be throwing things at the TV!!!.

She wanted kids, couldn't have them, and like a lot of women without children has a totally unrealistic idea of what she'd be like if she was a parent (ie: perfect!). Colours everything she says and writes.

I thought there would be more posts on this. Sh ecanbe very annoying. She did look nice in her wedding photos though.

Give her her due, she looks very stylish!

But all the "me me me" stuff, shouting down that guardian lady, feeding closed questions to people she already knew would agree with her point of view got my blood boiling even if I did quite like her shoes!!! She seemd rather sad & bitter.

Maybe women can't have it all but feminism to me is more about breaking down the traditional patronising view of women as being of less worth simply because of their sex.
