Haven't watched for weeks, what on earth is happening?

I agree with you stella i think jay is going to be set up for it i hope not or i will be furiously Boycotting EE if he does,

I have a near obsessional love for jay, I don't think I can bear it if the nasty bugger (Ben) frames him.

Ben is a nasty piece of work. You do have to wonder what made him that way though - I mean his mother died, Stella abused him, he was bullied by jordan, sent to prison... Anything else?

I'm watching it on sky plus - what do we think about Ben putting blood on roxys cost? Accident or done on purpose?

I love jay hes a cracking actor he was always a good character even when he was younger , my 14 yr old dd goes a bit and flustered when he comes on screen

cocolepew IIRC Stella mentally and physically abused Ben.
She threw water on his bed to make him think he'd wet his bed.
She dug her nails into him (that's what alerted Phil, he saw the blood seeping through Ben's shirt on the wedding day)

I'm sure she planted seeds of doubt in Ben's brain about his father (how much Phil loved Ben)

See, I get that Ben has now put the coat in the washing machine, but I'm pretty certain that the police can still find blood in the pipes. If I know this, I'm sure Ben with his criminal-ness would know it too. I think it was all part of his cunning plan, as the police would never think roxy killed hev, but they would think phil/jay might have done and washed their clothes... Or even Shirley seeing as they publicly argued.
Actually, I definitely think that's what Ben is doing - framing Shirley because she so obviously hates him now.

I am also more upset for Shirley than I am for George. Hev was the only sweet thing in her life, the only thing that kept a softness about her

I stopped watching EE when Bradley died, I just couldn't take the doom and gloom any more

Ooh Ben is evil, can you imagine the 'original' Ben that went in to prison doing all this? He best not be trying to 'frame' Jay - he reminds me quite disturbingly of my first boyfriend. Happy memories. Sigh.

qazxc I reckon Andrew will get the blame first, because it looks a bit suspicious that he went off on the train when they were supposed to be getting married.

How is Ben going to explain to Roxy why he washed her coat? He could have told her he spilt a bit of curry on it and then taken it!

I stopped watching EE many years ago because I found its doom and gloom storylines too depressing Neighbours is my guilty vice

I thought the beginning of the voicemail from Hev to Shirl where she said Andrew was at the door was going to place the blame on him but I think Phil deleted all of that message?

he might have but she'd started to listen to it, she heard her say that it was andrew at the door and then hung up on message. she hates andrew anyway. i think it's a bit rich really. when she hooked up with phil she lost interest in heather sharpish. she repeatedly took phil's side when he was being a tit. when he wasn't on the scene and she was straight back monopolising hev.

Shirl will definitely blame Andrew, it would make sense from her point of view. She has treated Heather appallingly so her guilt should be massive and she'll channel that in hatred for Andrew.

I don't think Phil has bonded with Ben over this, I think he despises him more but feels somewhat to blame. Phil would never have hurt Heather much as he dismissed and belittled her. He would protect Jay, I think, if he could do it without dropping Ben in it.

How can he expect Jay to keep that to himself? It was horrific. Leaving that poor little baby in his flat with his dead mum. Ben did not show very much remorse at all. He's such a messed up kid but really hard to sympathise when the actor has all the emotional range of a potato.

I'm watching today's episode on sky plus and can I just say again how much I adore jay? I think he is a young man that should be very, very proud of himself, and I think Phil sees him as the son he wishes Ben was. I'd be proud if I had a boy like him... Aside from the not grassing on Ben.

I think because he told Phil he'd got rid of it? It'd be pretty simple for him to frame jay now, especially since he will have made the police suspicious with the whole "I saw Andrew" thing

Twll I like Jay too. I think he would be good in some period drama, austen or Dickens.
