I'd forgotten about Janine stabbing herself! I don't think she's really a psychopath as we're reminded too often of the reason she's so bitter (her dad leaving her and never really giving a sh*t!)

The actress playing Janine is taking 6 months out so I think she abandons the baby and disappears.
