"What's the only thing men and women have in common? They both hate women."

"The reporter asks why so many women feel dissatisfied with their lives?"

Sounds good...

It was good I thought, though I'd have liked Janet to have admitted to being tempted to having a facelift herself (if she hasn't already had one), as I distinctly remember her saying she did. June sarpong was a bit irritating, 'we should look inside for self respect' or some such nonsense, as if we can just decide not to be influenced by the culture around us. That was all a bit tilting a windmills for me. The genie is out of the bottle, there's no putting it back.

Good on female misogyny too.

Yes, I enjoyed it too. The female media mysogyny got a bit tied in knots with the argument but made some valid points.

I have to say though every time they do some surgery on the '10 years younger' programme, the people do look vastly better. Yes you can go too far with it and for the wrong reasons but sometimes it can work wonders. I suppose it depends on why you're doing it that matters really.

monkeytrousers · 29/01/2006 16:51

But isn't that the problem, we're in a society that values only youth.

I did take a long look at JSP and concluded that surgery looked a distinct probability...............................................
