I was reading the wikipedia page on UC and apparently in 1985 they experimented with actual two-tiered teams. It was not a success.

Me and my sister used to be able to quote the whole episode word for word, we humiliated our parents when we did it on the train. We were 14 & 12 . (I think that was the moment my memory peaked, never managed to revise for exams, but a young ones episode was easy).
