Anyone finding this relationship between Mrs Tenby and her lodger a bit creepy?
The lodger pursuing her I mean? I think she should kick him out!

he was covering a bruised lip this morning, and he had bruises all on his back

LineRunner · 03/02/2012 14:16

Do the doctors on Doctors come along and top up the patients' parking meters when they're out shopping? They do everything else.

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:17

The patients of Leatherbridge are lucky. It takes me ages to get an appointment with my GP and every time I go the waiting room is full. There's never any patients waiting on there. Envy

Hulababy · 03/02/2012 14:18

My guilty lunch time watch too :)

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:18

Marina is abusive towards him, she has anger management issues, which he'd been trying to help her with. Hmm She hit him over Christmas and he ended up with cuts on his face.

Sparklingbrook · 03/02/2012 14:19

They bloody walk straight in Lady. The doctors are usually gossiping in Reception literally waiting to squeeze a patient in. If only.

travellingwilbury · 03/02/2012 14:19

I am just glad I am not alone in watching his shite , if anyone in rl comes round when it is on I get the Hmm face .

Sparklingbrook · 03/02/2012 14:19

Escape to the Country now with her off Pop Idol.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 03/02/2012 14:21

I am so nosey, I love escape to the country

LineRunner · 03/02/2012 14:21

I can't warm to her off of Pop Idol.

travellingwilbury · 03/02/2012 14:21

Now I can't watch Escape to the country , all these fucking retired folk buying 5 bedroom piles in the country while I am here with two children in a 3 bed semi .

Bitter and twisted and very very jealous .

Sparklingbrook · 03/02/2012 14:21

What does she know about property? Aled Jones presents it sometimes too. Confused

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:22

Seems very unfair Sparkling, and, do you know how hard it is to get a home visit? Ds had pneumonia as a baby and was very ill. I was made to take him into the surgery, then take him to A&E Hmm

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 03/02/2012 14:22

not keen on ALed but do quite like the posh totty with dark hair and a lovely voice that does it sometimes.

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:23

Escape to the Country has to be better then trash in the attic. Flog your family's antiques so you can go on holiday why don't you! Hmm

LineRunner · 03/02/2012 14:23

I hate these old middle-aged happy couples with money. Bastards.

Sparklingbrook · 03/02/2012 14:24

We need to move to Leatherbridge Lady. Wink We took DS2 as a baby into the docs as he had temperature etc, they said we would have to wait all morning til the end for him to be seen as they were fully booked. Stupidly we did and ended up at the hospital after finally being seen.

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:26

They seem to get through their GPs quite a lot though sparkling. It can be hard to build up that trust when they die/leave after a couple of years.

Sparklingbrook · 03/02/2012 14:26

Oh, and we complained but was told by the Practice Manager there was no way that would have happened. Angry

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:28

I was told they didn't do home appointments for children as the parents can bring them in. I don't drive so had to walk there. Ds threw up in the waiting room.

inmysparetime · 03/02/2012 14:37

What gets me is that they regularly spend their exceedingly long lunches in the pub drinking, then go back to work probably reeking of booze and treat patients, and that they can gallivant off round Letherbridge because "mrs whatsit seemed a bit off this morning" and there's always another doctor who can take their patients, yet they have enough patients to merit opening a second surgery. Hmmm...

LadySybilDeChocolate · 03/02/2012 14:39

The other surgery is at the campus, the one which has loads of courses and a handful of students. I'd like to study there, it sounds ideal.

LineRunner · 03/02/2012 15:07

I have never knowingly been treated by a drunk doctor, but I once spoke to very drunk on-duty policman on a Friday afternoon who had clearly enjoyed a rather good lunch and then been told (presumably unexpectedly) that he had to go back on duty.

It was only about a work project on cultural theft prevention so it was hilarious rather than scary.

Sparklingbrook · 03/02/2012 16:07

My DS threw up in the GP's waste paper bin Lady. We definitely need to transfer to Leatherbridge asap.
