I've read the book and preferred it tbh.

Sparklingbrook · 15/01/2012 20:51

Ooh dear. Sad

HarrietJones · 15/01/2012 20:51

Who let me watch this ?

bigeyes · 15/01/2012 20:51

Yes clawdy it's replacing my downtown fix.

Not sure my pg hormones can take this.

susiedaisy · 15/01/2012 20:52

The book is fab and yes the Spanish lady did have that many children, only the middle/ upper class trained as nurses and midwives so hence the accents, the author Jennifer worth also wrote another book called shadow of the workhouse which is alot darker and sadder IMO

bigeyes · 15/01/2012 20:52

Matchmakers anyone?
