I have a midwives dictionary from 1952 and the 'treatment' for PE was basically 'bed rest in a quiet dark room'.

It is Mary. How awful that poor girl and the poor parents. I can't imagine going through that.

Still the only treatment is to deliver the baby isn't it.
So much more research still needed .
It's still so very hit and miss .

I dont know much about it Nanny but I would expect that the woman would have far more medical support now days. Drips etc

Can't believe how lucky I was to have pe and hellp in the 21st century.

I'm going to have to turn over it's just so distressing .

Mine made me and my baby very poorly and iv never got over the experience .

It can be managed and monitored though and eclamspia is now rare.
