Yep. Not keen on the new set.

SecretNutellaFix · 07/01/2012 21:25

I'm watching.
With a friend who is a nurse. It's very funny listening to the running rant commentary!

SantieMaggie · 07/01/2012 21:26

So the daughter who found the old lady & the woman having an affair have been in chemical zone but not decontaminated?

When is the second part?!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/01/2012 23:02

I switched this on just because there wasn't anything else on I wanted to watch - I used to love casualty, but sort of fell out of love with it years ago - but by heck I am hooked again!! Though like your nurse friend, SecretNutellaFix, I did think there were one or two tiny areas of the plot that lacked just a leetle bit of accuracy. Like opening up a department to major casualties when the equipment is still in the plastic and untested!

I did sort of think that it was more like a series finale than a new series, though - I can't imagine what disasters are left for them to suffer - earthquake perhaps, or alien invasion - there's not a lot else!

But this is on series link now, and I will be waiting with baited breath for next week! Oh, and I am glad that Charlie Fairhead's still there - he's the only character left from when I last watched it (which will tell you how long it is since I last watched).

SaggyHairyArse · 07/01/2012 23:31

I've just watched it as recorded it, I love Casualty and have watched it avidly since it first started, it would be my Mastermind specialist subject. Am intrigued now as to the plot about the girls mother who got caught up in the RTA.

FlyingTeapot · 08/01/2012 00:10

Yeah, who was the bloke at the end, was he from a previous storyline?

Pixel · 08/01/2012 00:44

I guessed she was in hiding in some way as soon as she started being vague about the medical records. Pretty sure the bloke wasn't from a previous storyline, he is actually a mystery to make you watch next week. Wink

Zacsbird · 08/01/2012 01:16

I love it too Saggy, have also watched from the start and have the first 3 series on DVD. Thought tonight was brilliant, a return to the good old days for me.

I reckon the mother is a dv victim or in witness protection? Can't wait for next week!

HarrietJones · 14/01/2012 21:02

DV bloke is unnerving me.

Me too! Lucky the A&E staff are on the ball eh?

All I will say about new policeperson character is keep your hands off Jordan he's mine how ridiculous were those shoes for her line of work? Perhaps she's been watching too much american Torchwood. Wink

HarrietJones · 14/01/2012 21:44

I thought that when she ran!

FlyingTeapot · 15/01/2012 08:59

did the dirty mare have a bra on?

lucjam · 17/01/2012 16:30

I used to watch it years and years ago and got bored with it/started watching Holby instead. Anyway I have dipped in and out a little over the years, didn't Mr Jordan have a brain issue like an aneurysm or tumour? Is he magically cured or what?

I watched the last 2 episodes and loved it.

Pixel · 18/01/2012 00:40

He had a tumour but he had surgery. Zoe faked his signature on a consent form while he was unconscious if I remember.

lucjam · 21/01/2012 18:38

Ahh I see thanks Pixel.

HarrietJones · 21/01/2012 20:45

Turn of the unrealistic social worker tonight!
