this is really hard to read with all the spaces...

Report
RTKangaMummy · 12/01/2006 18:29

Sorry it is because I cut and pasted from a grid

that is how it comes out

It is not my typing just my lazziness in not shutting down the spaces

As I am not sure if anyone bothers to read these alerts anymore

RTKM, are you OK?

Report
MrsSpoon · 12/01/2006 23:41

RTKM, I love your telly threads! I want to thank you for reminding me that I've got 10 Years Younger on video to watch, forgot all about that.

Report
MrsSpoon · 12/01/2006 23:44

In fact RTKM I have been thinking about you a fair bit over the past few days as I have had an ear infection and can barely hear a thing (although it is slowly getting better), any telly that I have watched has been at full volume and with the subtitles switched on, often wonder if you did the subtitles when I am watching. Also noticed, sadly, how the quality of subtitling differs from programme to programme, some are really spot on but some are difficult to follow.

MrsSpoon · 12/01/2006 23:44

I mean "sadly" not in a boo-hoo sort of way but rather in a 'I'm a sad git' sort of way.

HM yes thanks I just had a really emotional day yesterday because of kangaboy getting called for interview after passing his exams

I just kept bursting into tears

I have dreamt about him going to DH school ever since I was preggers with him and DT1.

And to find that he had passed the exams and even got top marks in the english papers is very overwhelming for me and actually all of us

And before someone has a go at us for being pushy parents kangaboy has always wanted to go there too as he feels very at home there ~~ but if hadn't passed the exams ~ he would have gone to one of the other local schools because we didn't want him to go if it wasn't the right place for him and that he would struggle. iyswim.

All my family are teachers ~~ so I am very much aware of the situations of being taught by parents etc.

My dad taught my sister at grammar school, my bro and I went to there when we went into 6th form, our mum taught and was deputy head at our infant school. All my cousins etc went to the same schools as their dad taught at.

There are several teachers at DH school with their sons there so the school is used to it as well.
