Pleased with myself for recognising the title Grin

My favourite one (shamelessly C and V'd as I CBA to type it all)

"Leo: [to Josh] This guy's walking down a street, when he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep, he can't get out.
A doctor passes by, and the guy shouts up "Hey you! Can you help me out?" The doctor writes him a prescription, throws it down the hole and moves on.
Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up "Father, I'm down in this hole, can you help me out?" The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on.
Then a friend walks by. "Hey Joe, it's me, can you help me out?" And the friend jumps in the hole! Our guy says "Are you stupid? Now we're both down here!" and the friend says, "Yeah, but I've been down here before, and I know the way out."

Have you ever seen 'sports night'? When you've gone around the west wing too many times give it a try, and Peter Krause to boot Grin

Just been rewatching TWW by proxy as a friend has been watching my DVDs and then relentlessly texting me cryptic things like "go CJ!" and I have to work out which ep of which series he might be on, quite a challenge.

Yes Sorkin seems to have particular wimmin issues but he also didn't go in for the standard John Wells-bollocks of older characters being replaced by younger, more attractive ones (Nancy for Kate, for example), pointless relationships for the sake of it (er, sorry, Kate again - with Will) and blatant reality-bending ratings-grabbers like the Press Sec becoming Chief of Staff.

With Ainsley I think he really had written a character he didn't know what the hell to do with, shame her story was truncated (I assume by the actress moving to CSI Miami).

InExcelsisDeo · 01/01/2012 01:48

That was a great scene Jareth. I think Leo and Josh had my favorite relationship in the whole series.

SantasCave · 01/01/2012 10:10

As has been said many times on the Bartlet-Net thread: I want to be sat in Leo's office at 1am eating Chinese food! Grin

InExcelsisDeo · 01/01/2012 22:32

Hell, yeah.

NewGirlInTown · 07/01/2012 04:27

One small criticism. Series 2 cliffhanger, "Mr President are you going to run again" etc. First Series 3 episodes onlyshowing the rest of that night in flashback with the majority focussing on campaign prep in Manchester.
I always feel a bit cheated not to see more of the aftermath, and Mrs Landingham got a raw deal!

NewGirlInTown · 07/01/2012 04:29

Santa, where is the Bartlet net thread of which you speak? I must go there immediately!

CaveMum · 07/01/2012 19:08

Bartlet Net here Grin

NewGirlInTown · 09/01/2012 05:23

Thanknyou so much Cave Mum

goatshavestrangeeyes · 09/01/2012 12:05

Oh how i heart Josh Grin

My dh is oh so wonderful for introducing me to tww he is a TAD obsessed though

Cristiane · 09/01/2012 12:11

I have that envy thing too about people who have never seen the west wing!

I think I have seen each episode about seven times...

One of my favourites I am thinking of - when Josh gets sent new shoes by his mother and slips over when he goes up to Capitol Hill.

When Will shuffles the cards like a pro in my all time favourite episode -evidence of Things not Seen -and CJ does balance the egg on its end at the moment if the equinox

So many more...

Josh in the firemans outfit
Josh reversing his gass guzzling car into the electric one

Ainsley going into the cupboard to pee
