Anyone watching?

The lights weren't working during the first song.

Ooh, here's Gaga!

..and Bocc is less interesting than watching a tomato wither. He can do abit of vibrato but he is the destitute man's pavarotti

JamieOliveOil · 17/11/2011 21:08

I fear it will be Gary alone singing and not TT as he's on the bill as solo and he hasn't mentioned the other boys in any of the interviews I've heard. Need me a bit of Howard Grin Blush

Howard was always my favourite too - how come so many of us on one thread.....

piratecat · 17/11/2011 21:13

yeh Elbow!!

ChunkyMonkeyMother · 17/11/2011 21:13

I'm fairly sure Captain B said no TT BUT he said that last time and look what happened there!

I absofuckinglutely love Elbow - Heard them practise before when Scott Mills was on (I think) amazing!

JamieOliveOil · 17/11/2011 21:13

Because Howard is Hawwwwwwt!!! I can't look at him without having absolutely filthy thoughts!

OP posts:
whoneedstosleep · 17/11/2011 21:13

I'm getting a bit fed up.......

iooi · 17/11/2011 21:15

Does any one else watch this and think - it's not like donating to Africa or South America where kids sleep on the streets and the governments don't help....why aren't the NHS / government etc. helping these kids already from our taxes?? why doesn't it work that way? not a political statement by any means - the other lot were certainly no better....

iooi · 17/11/2011 21:15

And i always donate in case it sounded as if i didn't....Blush

HarrietJones · 17/11/2011 21:15

Never seen elbow before just heard them. Weve come to the conclusion they handed out instruments inthe staff room at a local secondary.

ChunkyMonkeyMother · 17/11/2011 21:15

OP posts:
iooi · 17/11/2011 21:17

piratecat · 17/11/2011 21:17

this will cheer you up

bit o' Howard

yer tis

JamieOliveOil · 17/11/2011 21:18

OP posts:
ChunkyMonkeyMother · 17/11/2011 21:18

iooi - I always find this kind of stuff more appealing iyswim? Its a little closer to home, a probem that we need to fix - These families get a lot fo support from the gvnt etc but they just need so much more, the money goes towards arts + leisure stuff, I work with a lad who uses a wheelchair and the stuff he gets to do because of our local charities is incredible, he still gets the basic neccessity from the powers that be but the charities give him a quality of life that nobody could afford otherwise

JamieOliveOil · 17/11/2011 21:19

Oh, Lord help me. Piratecat that man is truly beautiful.

saw Elbow on the Seldom Seen Kid tour, and it really was fantastic, it was big venue but intimate too, really chilled.
