Thought Jason did pretty well, but I found the choreography quite boring. There were no goofy lifts that you'd expect. I wonder if Kristina didn't want to look silly?

I think the judges are over marking Jason every week.

Those Russian boys choreograph well.

Wow! Now that was good. Great timing and my god he had sway - you hardly ever see male celebs with sway, it takes years to perfect.

I hope Aliona takes note - choreograph a good solid routine with no faffing about and he'll be fine.

Didn't see Anita, Holly or Alex. Surprised at the amount of Samba with Robbie. Thought he did well. Chelsee - loved it. Jason - good but a bit yawny for a Charleston. Harry - really liked it.

That's my theory too, Forehead - plus there's something quite naive about her which maybe makes her feel embarrassed to be playing the femme fatale.

Slightly tomboyish even, like Kara, although she had the advantage of being older.

I hope she does manage to surprise us all soon.

I absolutely loved watching Kristina tonight - even though I don't love Jason by any means, I'm so pleased she's still in it - worth the licence fee imo!

Only just finished watching on catch up and gate crashing your thread but wanted to ask why you think it is always Brendan that is the stand-in professional male?

Is it because:
1)he is really that good
or
2) the rest of the male professionals like him and can work easily with him
or
3) he is really keen to show off be involved as much as possible
or
4) He is (possibly?) the highest paid professional so the BBC make use of him

or a combination of the above?!

Ola wasn't happy was she?! I thought they were doing better than some of the others though. They were actually doing lindy hop rather than just lifts

I think Harry and Chelsee probably were the best, but not convinced on the others. I thought Alex stayed in too long.

But then, sticking Robbie and Ola right out on the other side probably didn't help the judges see them.

I felt the positioning wasnt great. The cameras hardly showed Anita & got loads of jason

It must be a lot easier for the female pros to stay in longer (not taking anyrhing away from Chelsee - she was great) - especially when the pro just grabs them and blinds us all with spins and lifts. Much harder to keep up momentum for a male celeb as there isn't necessarily that option.

Why does Alex wear black pinstripes again. Never known a dancer wear black trousers or leotards so often!!

I agree that Jason is way over marked - and his facial expressions were not pretty!!

Go Harry!!!! My DH thought he was awesome too. DH also enjoyed Ola's costume .

And Jason cocked up the steps in the swingathon again! Gurning doesn't stop us looking at your feet, mate!

Harry is looking a solid winner now; he's consistent and doesn't make mistakes.
Chelsee is an actress - she should have been able to adopt a character in that AT.
Holly doesn't want it badly enough.
Robbie - bored now. He did grab Ola's boob accidentally at the end, she batted him off
Anita is lovely, but lacks the same technical ability as the others.
Alex has come a long way, but I think she's hit a plateau now.
